Adamton Country House Hotel

It's a three star hotel for a reason. It's lovely and clean in the room, the bed's are GORGEOUS, better than my own bed at home. Lovely water pressure. The food was buffet style as we were with a coach trip, food was lovely and warm, plenty for everyone. I had curry the first night (gluten free as well!) And a braised beef dinner. Rooms were lovely and cool for summer! TV had a lot of channels. The only thing that was an issue was the lack of WiFi/phone signal which is fine if you're only sleeping there. Plus, it's the middle of nowhere so if course the connection isn't going to be the best

Stayed overnight on a bargain deal arranged by the manager who had responded to a scathing but fair review I left after a February stay.
This time the room was in the old part of the hotel and was much much better. Clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was also a good buffet.

This is a budget hotel. So don't go expecting 5 star luxury. It does exactly what it says. Disabled access, toilets, rooms. We stayed one night while travelling to Ireland 🇮🇪. Beds were comfortable breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from. I would use this hotel again. Staff were brilliant

The hotel was ideal for my long weekend holiday, with a pleasant country location near attractive towns and coastline. The price was good value. The food at the breakfasts and at a buffet evening meal was plentiful and good. Robert at the Reception was particularly helpful and friendly when we arrived and throughout our stay.

Had a 3 nights stay from 12th September and had excellent time the staff were helpful and friendly, the new management was hard working and hands on.
The room was a bit dated but clean with lots of hot water, the bedding and the towels was also fresh and clean.
The food was good at breakfast and at evening time on the last night I had steak pie and it was one best steak pies I have had.
I would have no problem about going back to this excellent value hotel.

Nick & Donna, the NEW management and their staff could not have done more for my son & daughter in law for their wedding & celebrations.
Totally professional, with a personal touch and no request a problem.

The staff were very helpful. The food was very good. We stayed one night as part of national bus tour. The hotel was very characteristic and must have been magnificent in its day. There are renovations in progress to help the transformation. The team are trying very hard to provide a good service during changing times.The rooms were basic, warm and very clean. We had lots of hot water for baths and showers. The prices for alcohol were very reasonable. I would definitely return.

We visit this hotel every few months for an overnight with drinks & entertainment, bed & breakfast. The prices are very reasonable for the service provided. The staff are always very friendly, the accommodation is clean and there are often talented singers and other activities on. New management have taken over recently and on our most recent visit, the positive changes were noticeable, such as new carpeting throughout and drinks machines in the dining area. The new managers were also very pleasant, approachable and accommodating. All in all, a really enjoyable stay in this family friendly hotel and we will continue to return as we are always made to feel very welcome.
