I stayed there as part of a photography group for 2 nights. The staff are lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I'm vegan and they made a meal for me on the first night and came out with a whole menu the following night. Any of the dishes would have been wonderful. Vegans, don't be fooled just because there's nothing on the menu. The rooms are clean and well furnished. It's quiet at night due to the location. And to top it all, Stephen, the cat is very friendly. I would definitely return if I go back to Anglesey.

Beautiful Country Hotel.We stayed for two nights. Service was warm and friendly. Breakfast was spot on. The rooms were very clean and well presented. A nice change from the average white bed sheets and white walls. We will miss Steven the cat! She too was very friendly and welcoming. I would travel back to Angelsey just to stay here again !

New owners in this quaint hotel, few tweaks needed which they dealt with. We spent 3 nights here and would have loved to stay longer, couldn't fault the staff, warm and friendly, room was clean and large with views over the mountains, food was excellent 5*. Good luck for December 8th. Hope to see you next year. Nige and Linda

Ok. Staff fantastic. Bar and restaurant good, and fair value for a well thought out menu. Rooms have been refreshed but thin doors and ceiling does result in noise from above, and the corridor. Still, comfortable value for a 3 star facility.

The location is really nice, the room has clearly been recently modernised, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Can't fault it. Would 100% stay there again.

UPDATE - Wendy and Andrew have now retired, but Stephen the (female!) cat is still there, as are some of the original, friendly staff. The prices are higher now, but it's still worth it.
Superbly situated just off the main A55 (yet still in beautiful, tranquil countryside) Nant Yr Odyn offers a wonderful base from which to explore the island. Wendy, Andrew and all the hotel's hard working staff (including Stephen the cat!) go out of their way to give guests a truly warm welcome. Quality is high, prices are reasonable and there is an air of charm about the place that you just don't get in many hotels these days. We only stayed for a few days - I wish it had been longer and we will certainly be back. Top Tip - ask Andrew about motorbikes.........
