Yesterday morning we rang the hotel after learning our afternoonferry to Ireland had been cancelled and needing somewhere to stay until early the next morning when we were due on the next ferry

Peter was incredibly helpful and arranged a room for us in short notice, have us a quiet room at the back of the hotel so we could get some rest and arranged a taxi for us.

The room was clean and comfortable and just perfect for our needs. The bed in fact was particularly comfortable

Thank you for helping us out on a cold rainy day!

Owner was a bit too intrusive asked personal questions and it made me uncomfortable, the room was a lot smaller than I pictured it, bathroom facilities weren't great either the sink was too small and the hot water took time coming on. The bed was comfy but that's pretty much it. 2/5

Firstly let me say that the owners Peter and Hailey are extremely friendly and helpful, even though we were later than the time agreed to check in Peter helped us such a lot!!
Our room was extremely clean and bed were really really comfortable so we slept well on our 3 night stay.
Breakfast was included in the price and was lovely. I can honestly say they are working so hard in these unprecedented times. We will certainly stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, clean tidy rooms excellent breakfast cooked to perfection. Came as strangers left as friends. Not the poshest hotel because of age but a great place to recharge your batteries. Would definitely go again!

Great place to stay. Clean, friendly family running it and a bar / pub downstairs. Even live music on our stay. Free parking, easy to get to. On the main high street. Plenty of other amenities around. a minutes walk from Pembroke castle.

Really lovely couple who run the hotel, very chatty and friendly and very accomodating with any things we needed. The room was clean and well equipped, it wasn't the fanciest hotel we've ever stayed in but such good value and we had a really good experience here. Also the breakfast was delicious! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room was clean, that's what you want it to be. But other than that don't expect much. And if you have enough time to wait for breakfast until 9 - 9.15 then go ahead and book your stay. Peter and his wife are very nice couple.

Firstly I just want to say pembroke town was beautiful we loved the scenery and the castle.

Please be aware

We arrived before 2.30 the building was closed we had to wait 3 hrs the owner refused to apologise saying he was open no you were not I know what time we arrived. As a hotel we were expecting atleast an open receptionist we were greeted by a sticky top bar. The smell of fat was.horrendous as the kitchen door was open. In between sorting out arrival he was putting on the
fat fryer for a builder that was staying

Owner unprepared to greet us was flapping and telling silly jokes too over friendly to a point we had to ignore him

The place looks derelict filthy windows and cobwebs everywhere i thought it was a wind up

The place has fousty clean but just surface cleaned the corners had not been done for.a.decade you could tell furnishings were grim and carpets buggy. Chairs were dated paint peeling off the list goes on grim

Narrow hallways fire escape was a floor down no other fires escapes near room

Room was dated windows dirty tv blurry holes in walls bathroom was tiny could barely move

Carpark we parked at a pay point as we were not given directions at the hotel so we wasted time.having.to repark no aopology

Breakfast was grim swimming in fat and who serves tinned tomatoes with beans on a positive we we were asked if we wanted more no thanks I went hungry

Ownere wife barely spoke owner didnt stop or get the message he was annoying he will actually tell you he is annoying

The owner told us he really needed to take our temperature due to covid but he wasnt going to.bother he had so much to check so we were not checked and could.have put others at risk or ourselves unbelievable

So.if the owner reads this review please revamp your property it is not a clean comfortable place to stay I felt like I was dossing have stayed in better hostels.

Oh and the fire doors stays open when you open it another fire hazard
