Aberthaw House Hotel

Fabulous! I am so happy we visited here. It was a "risk" because there wasn't an online menu or anything, and not many reviews but it was perfect! Incredible customer service. Lovely atmosphere. Great food. Reasonable drinks. Huge portions. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

Went with 5 female friends, small intimate place nice atmosphere friendly staff. Great tapas good value and good sized portions. Well worth a visit .

Stayed here and had a meal here. Lovely small guest house. Relaxing and just what I needed.
Had a lovely tapas meal in the evening too with a nice glass of wine. Really enjoyable.
Only small gripe is the mixed veg was a lot of mushroom, but mushroom is not a vegetable! Oh well. Not the end of the world. Everything else was lovely.
The ladies running the place were also very friendly and helpful.

Went here on our honey moon, establishment was beautiful and tidy, staff were great and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable we had a great view of Barry town. Would recommend and would 100% come back here. The breakfast is one of the best me and my husband have ever tried. Very close to Barry island it's in walking distance so was wonderful to have days outside in the sun enjoying ourselves.

Pleasant stay - nice bright rooms, great location and really lovely, friendly staff. Fantastic Welsh breakfast and excellent quality food. Only knocked a star off as the bed was a small double, so didn't have the best night's sleep, but overall was a brilliant find and a great stay 🙂

We got to the Guest on a Sunday . Instantly Greated by Helen. Made us so welcome . It's well situated nice and quiet at night. The room was spot on for what we needed. The Breakfasts are great so filling and Helen's Sister is such fun and a really hard worker.. would definitely stay there again . Thanks so much to both of you for our stay . Joanne and Steve.

Couldn't fault anything, the staff were amazing and so polite, the rooms were spotless and so cosy! Breakfast was beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely!

First visit to this hotel, didn't really know what to expect but it ticked all the boxes.
Breakfast and restaurant meals were top quality. Rooms cosy and comfortable
Staff friendly. Couldn't find fault. Definitely stay again next time in Barry.
