Heartsease Lodges

Arrived to a warm welcome from Mark and later a visit from Claire. Complimentary fresh eggs, milk, tea and coffee were a very nice touch. I’ve got a head like a sieve so the little extras were very much appreciated. Hot tub is very clean and the beds.... wow, so comfortable! This is a beautiful, peaceful location and the biggest bonus for my mum and I is the completely escape proof garden; as we brought her little dog along. Plenty to do in the area and lots of information provided. Well done Mark and Claire, we’ll be back!

The lodge smelt like a greasy spoon cafe! And dogs , was not to a clean standard at all, had to leave the windows open all night.
The grass area surrounding the hot tub was covered with dog poo, not just one more like 20 in various locations.
The place has dramatically nose dived since the original owners have moved on.
We have stayed at about 30 different lodges over time this happens to be the dirtiest one of all time.
My advice before you spend your hard earned cash look else where.

Stayed here for a week as a family of four and two dogs. The lodge was in a very peaceful location whilst being well situated to explore the local area. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and we didn't have to worry about them escaping. The lodge itself was very well maintained, equipped and comfortable.

We stayed her for one week 2/8 -9/8, 2 adults, 2 children (11 & 9), and 1 dog. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return. The lodge was lovely and clean and in a beautiful setting. We settled in really well and made the most of our days either spending them at the lodge and going on local walks or heading further afield.
We visited - Llandrindod Wells and went on the peddle boats. New Quay to spend time at the beach. Aberdovey to go crabbing. Elan Valley, which is just stunning! There are main shops in Llandrindod Wells about 15 min drive.
The lodge has everything you need for a holiday and as a bonus I was able to wash all the clothes before coming home 👍

Such a great location peace and quiet. Lovely lodge with all the amenities you need, even free eggs and milk tea and coffee. With a very handy utility with a tumble dryer washing machine and dishwasher. Hot tub amazing! Brilliant experience and owners on site, have booked again already.

Great lodge very clean the dogs were very secure great hot tub, the owner came daily to do the chemicals in the hot tub, very secluded and relaxing, sheep in the nearby fields which was lovely, a fire pit so we could have a fire at night all the amenities you could ask for, we have rebooked for next year we cannot wait, just a short drive to Tesco and aldi, bed lining was very clean and bed very comfortable can't wait till next year.

2nd time going here now for a long weekend we loved it nice and private and my little girl loved the hot tub , we understand that the garden is good for dogs but as my daughter wanted to play around the garden there were 3 large piles of dog mess on the grass which should of been checked when the cleaners clean the lodge .

Absolutely outstanding, we didn't want to leave, amazing location it was sooo quiet, perfect lodge with everything you need. If you get clear skies the sky is absolutely amazing and all within a 15min drive of the stunning Elan Valley.
