The staff were so friendly, there was nothing too much for them, Ricky & Katie etc. The hotel was clean & breakfast was great. Perfect position for exploring in Chepstow.
I lost my ring & it was found & given back to a friend to pass it on, great to still know there are honest people around.
Had a fab time

Great location. Nice bar. Nice outside area. Friends said breakfast v good. Lovely manager and all staff v friendly. V clean, comfy beds. Reasonable price. Limited parking but cheap day and free overnight parking across the road. Wld be a 5 if 1. Decent shower (vv old, barely a trickle) 2. Better curtains, as light came straight through and needed a blind for privacy. It's a hotel that needs updating in terms of the room decor and carpets but it's absolutely fine and the downstairs compensates for that.

Hotel is set directly in the middle of Chepstow high street and about a 3 minute walk from the castle.
Rooms are a bit dated and showers are not the best but the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.
Staff are extremely helpful, bar prices reasonable, breakfast was great.
Will have no issues staying here again.

Rooms look different to website images, they are very dated but clean. We were shocked to arrive after a 3 hour drive to a very rowdy pub atmosphere, we probably should have done more research into what sort of place this was before booking. The walls must be paper thin as on the first night we could hear an extremely loud wedding with music thumping through the floor until around midnight, we could also hear people snoring and talking in other rooms on the second night, however the beds were comfortable. Room had a damp/musty smell. Staff were very pleasant. We did have to pay to park in a public car park tho as limited spaces at the hotel. So a mixed review!

Dropped in for a bit of lunch, the staff were very friendly and served the meal within minutes. The soup and bacon sandwich was lovely. Nice place for a good time.

Went to this beautiful hotel/pub with a group of friends. The staff was brilliant 👏.
I have no idea how they put up with us having a new year's drink.

Thank you so much guys.

We visited for the first time on a wet & windy Boxing Day, but the staff reception soon cheered us up - the food and service were all to a high standard, we'll definitely be back 👍
