Talardy Hotel St Asaph by Marston's Inns

Lovely experience. All staff efficient, well mannered, courteous, hard working and well experienced.
Food was wonderful, daughter didn't eat hers purely because she's 5 and doesn't understand that food equals fuel!
All drinks brought to the table in a suitable time frame, hardly any wait for our food to arrive and was offered condiments and extra cutlery.
All in all, a great experience and happy to recommend.

Nice place decorated well, service and staff are great.
Food was disappointing though on all fronts, taste, portions, and presentation. As if a non-trained chef was trying his/her best with googling BBC recipes and no-one to help him/her.
Obviously I have no idea what's going on in the kitchen but that's what the food said to us, unfortunately.

The last few times we have been to the Talardy have been excellent. They always go above and beyond to ensure we are sat in the best seats due to our Mother's mobility issues they have always been so accommodating.

Today has been no exception, we were checked on the while time, shown to the table I had requested. The menu was delivered impeccably and we were given up to date information on the availability of food items. The food was beautifully presented and plenty of it as well!!
I want to give particular shout out to our Sever Ebenezer. She was fantastic and considering how much was going on she checked on us throughout. An absolute asset to an amazing team at the Talardy

We arrived at the hotel and was immediately impressed with hotel and carpark, especially with the fact it had 2 electric car charging points and plenty of space in the carpark.
It also had nice areas for sitting outside and a good adventure play area for the children.
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant with a nice choice for lunch which included a deal for 2 or 3 courses. We all had different meals across the range and we all enjoyed our food.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and this included putting a birthday candle on our daughter's sweet and joining in singing happy birthday.
The restaurant was very nicely decorated and clean with the tables nicely spread out and nicely set out and the toilets were also clean and tidy which is always important for me.
All in all we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again. In fact we are thinking of booking for Christmas.

My cousin and I meet for a day out and lunch about once a month. We called in on the off chance of having lunch at the Talardy. The staff were very welcoming and seated us in a lovely area of the dining room. The decor was very pleasant. The table, cutlery and crockery and glasses were very clean. We enjoyed a lovely meal, well cooked and presented. The soft drinks were sparkly. And the bill very reasonable for a two course meal and drinks. Would definitely call here again.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is well cooked and The tables, cutlery and glasses are spotless.The special offer codes are very useful in the current economic climate. Please can you go back to having plain roast chicken on the menu. There are several chicken dishes on the menu but not one of them is plain. It doesn't help anyone who doesn't like spices, curry sauces or cheese. Surely if there is chicken available then you should be able to serve it plain. That is the main reason we don't visit as often as we used to.

This Hotel/restaurant was really great. Food really tasty and service pretty quick and well done. Drinks could be a little cheaper on wines and fizz but food is second to none and the cost of the meal was reflected in the taste, presentation, portion size and standard. Praise to the chef who was on duty on 25th September this year.

It was amazing from start to finish. We Went for my dad's birthday meal last night. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful and really polite. I can not wait to go again. I will definitely be recommending your place if anyone wants somewhere lovely to eat. Gemma
