Sinclair Jewellers

We went into Sinclair’s today to pick out wedding bands. The customer service was incredible and the jewellery we picked was of high quality. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome (and in fact, all the other customers that came when we were in there too) and it really seemed like they look after the community. It’s a fantastic jewellers. Would highly recommend.

Very bizarre atmosphere in this shop, an undertone of unhelpfulness. They were particularly unpleasant to me, stating my ring size of K- (that sat off the ring chart) would be my problem of what that meant in South Africa where my ring was being made. No friendly advise, quite the opposite, it was shocking. I asked if I could take a photo of the ring measurer (to help explain to my SA jeweler)... but the mature lady pulled the measurer away and said no photos!!! It was a measurer. The wider picture was I had a necklace I needed altering, so I was giving them business. I walked out wanting to cry... and I had recently got engaged and just wanted some friendly advise. Shame.

I recently purchased an engagement ring here and had a great experience. I popped in as I was walking past, always keen to try independent shops and was very pleased I did. Peter helped me custom design a ring, was up front about the pricing and was considerate of my budget and requirements. The staff are clearly knowledgeable and friendly, making it an easy process for someone (like me) who is not as clued up about jewellery! I was delighted with the ring and Peter was very helpful and got it resized in very quick time. If you want expertise and people who care, go to Sinclair!

Always try your local Jeweller before going to Tiffany etc! I’ve been a buying all my diamond pieces at branded stores before discovering Sinclair - but their price and service is so much better, and the quality is top. I’ve had some diamond studs re-set from white gold to platinum and they exactly copied the unique setting. They also custom created my wedding band with diamonds and the quality of the diamonds and the band is very very good. Thick and smoothly rounded band with very white and sparkling diamonds. I have many pieces from Tiffany and De Beers to compare with, and will only really go to Sinclair now as it’s just better value and service, and I’m happy to support a family business.

Wonderful service! My fiancé and I bought our wedding rings here. We were given lots of time to chose from their selection. But we opted for our own unique design, we were given great help and advice in making our bespoke rings just perfect for us. And the price was very reasonable too.
We are so happy we came here, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I have been taking my watches to Sinclair Jewellers for new straps and new batteries for over 10 years and have been very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant!! I took my bestie there for a bday surprise to get her ears pierced. Staff/owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, funny- we had a good laugh. Attention to detail when lining up the piercing ensuring all was accurate with very nice care and thoughtfulness. Professional yet super lovely and friendly. The studs were beautiful, all options. The money for the piercings also goes to charity too. Which is lovely. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.

Finding the perfect earrings for a wife is difficult but when someone knows how to twist some designs for your needs, then is much easer. I would like to say BIG THANK YOU to Sinclair Jewellers because from a Butterfly Back Earrings, they have changed it into French Clip Earrings.
