Vasconez Silver

We brought in an engagement ring for a simple resize. Upon picking it up the band was uneven with two small 'lumps' and a crack/gap in the soldering. We went back to a frosty reception from an older lady and after looking at the ring she said abruptly 'where are the lumps' (which were obvious). A younger woman then came in and said the the gap in the soldering might have been where my fiancee had scratched it! We were shocked at their rudeness and their reluctance to accept their mistakes. Neither of them apologised but finally agreed to 'try again' but by this point we thought it safer to get a refund. They said no and started listing the costs they had already incurred, with the older lady saying "well you're wearing it aren't you" to imply that it can't be that bad. We even said we would settle for a 50% refund but they only offered 30%. The older lady began insulting us personally and said we were "clearly a very unhappy couple together", raising her voice and ushering us out of her shop. We came away £45 out of pocket and had to pay for someone else to rectify the ring (who clearly identified the mistakes made straight away). DO NOT GO HERE!

Purchased from this shop many times. Its my go to shop for stylish, reasonably priced silver jewellery. A wide range of modern styles. Service is excellent; also good for alterations / repairs. Looking forward to shopping here again after lockdown.

DAMAGED MY WATCH!!!
Outraged customer. I wanted some links on my beautiful watch to be removed as it wasn't fitting my wrist properly. I left my watch there to be collected in an hour. After shopping, I went back and the lady gave me the watch. But, she was not forthcoming about the fact that one of the diamantes had come off the face of the watch during the repair and hoped I would not notice.
When I showed her the damage and pointed out that my watch was not like this before, there was no reaction from her.
She did show however, that she was unconcerned and insensitive by not saying anything only..."It must of come off when it was in the clamp".
I received NO apology. I asked her if she would fix it back, but she said that it would be a big job. I asked her if I would have to pay for (her mistake) this to be fixed. She said YES!
At this point, I was very disappointed at the lack of remorse, morality and accountability. I gave her the opportunity to make things right by asking if there is anything she can offer, but she chose NOT to take responsibility for the damage and charged me the full price of the repair. Advice: If you love your jewelry, DO NOT use Vasconez Silver.

Went to get my diamond bracelet resized before I went on holiday. Got measurements together in store and was told I could collect it before the holiday. When I went to collect the size was wrong and it was still too big meaning it was not ready for my holiday. There was no apology or empathy for the mistake until I pointed out that it was rude that I did not even receive a sorry. They did resize it after my holiday so the job was completed however customer service is severely lacking in this store.

Needed a last minute present. They were very friendly and helpful and managed to engrave it before closing too

AMAZING!! i asked vasconez to repair 3 of my most treasured rings including one i’ve worn every day for the last 15 years. PERFECT REPAIR!!! 2 soldered and shined - they look better than ever, invisible repair & fit perfectly. the third ring was reshaped & again, perfect fit!! all done for a very reasonable price & work completed in the timeframe promised. i can’t recommend vasconez enough - please contact them for all silver repairs, especially if you’re worried about leaving precious belongings with someone, vasconez showed incredible care and attention. thank you vasconez, i’ll be recommending you to everyone!

Lovely shop with lovely staff! My parents bought me absolutely stunning necklace from here and the staff were amazing and so accommodating.

Poor quality product, which needed repairing after no time at all. Long wait for repair work. Will not use this shop again.
