After reading the Swarovski Return Policy displayed at the cash desk, which clearly states ‘Any item retuned in a pristine condition will be exchanged at the current price or offered a gift card’
I challenged her service and she offered to call her Line Manager whom was on Annual Leave. Just want to make a note, my exchange was a £75 pair of earrings!
Her manager also refused and explained that she was having a lot of exchanges without receipt and therefore she would not authorise mine.
As I found this bizarre I rang Swarovski’s Customer Care team to understand my customer rights. What I wasn’t aware the Sales Assistant who was serving me originally had left the cash desk to call Customer Service and get them decline my exchange. A very uptight and robotic care representative also said there was nothing anyone could do for me as I didn’t have a proof of purchase and that he would pass on feedback regarding the Refund Policy that is displayed in all Swarovski stores as well as the policy on the receipts.
I feel like this was an act of discrimination and that the service here is unacceptable. I’m pretty sure if it was somebody else they would of honoured their consumer rights.
Wouldn’t recommend shopping here!
