I asked for a quote on fixing my engagement ring and he said £135. After taking it to Charms in Southgate to see if they could better that price because I thought it was quite expensive, charms fixed and cleaned it for £40..!!! And they did a great job.

After getting engaged I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted and so my finance and I thought we would talk to a jeweller. The gentleman in here was incredible. He spoke to us through our options, was patient when we had ideas and made them work to ensure the quality wasn’t compromised. The finished product was amazing.m! I loved it so much that when it came to wedding bands it didn’t even cross our minds to go anywhere else. Thank you to all staff at Nicholas Meffan.

My friends purchased a beautiful gold necklace from Nicholas Meffans Jewellers for me for my 30th birthday, however when I tried it on the chain was a little too short for me as I have quite a wide neck. I returned to the jewellers with my necklace and explained the issue I had. The lady I spoke to was excellent help, explaining the options for how they could make the chain a more suitable length for me and ensuring she understood what length would be most comfortable. I had my necklace back within a week and the fit was absolutely perfect, I now wear it every day with pride. I’ve been into Nicholas Meffan’s on a number of occasions to have rings altered and to purchase gifts for friends. They are always polite and friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you are delighted with your purchases. I even had my engagement ring made by them. I wanted something very specific and they listened so carefully that the finished product was exactly what I had asked for. Consequently, I have since been back for my wedding band. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Visited this morning to collect a repair and the owners could not have been more helpful. With the state of the High Rd we should all try and support these independent traders who offer a professional service at a reasonable price.

What an appalling service from the rudest woman in this shop! Customer service definitely needs improving, sad to say that I would advise anyone to avoid at all costs, a real shame as they lost out on business today and in the future from me.

Brilliant local jeweller. Always there for the boring watch batteries but also remodeled my late mother's engagement and wedding ring into a single ring for me. Very happy with the result.

Somewhat surprised by the aggressive attitude of the lady assistant with her views on contactless payments, will definitely give the shop a miss in the future
