Simmer Kitchens

So happy with our kitchen! I teach people how to cook from home so it was very important that I got a calm relaxed kitchen which will be robust enough to be used more than the average kitchen.

Simmer did not see my specifc requirements as a problem and between Ian and Sheena found ways to achieve them in the design.

I felt totally confident they were going to do a good job from the start.

Design was good, thorough with measurements, Ian turned up when he said he would, did a great job and happy to tweek a few bits as we went along. He made sure he did not compromise quality when came across problems.

The plasterers, plumber and electrician Ian uses also had exacting standards and did a great job.

I would highly recommend Simmer kitchens they are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. You need to be realistic about your budget if you want a quality kitchen you are going to love and last the test of time.

Ian and Sheena are a delight to work with. As others have commented nothing was too much trouble and we made quite a few revisions both during the design phase and whilst on site.

Ian is a total professional. He fitted our kitchen just after the first lockdown and managed at all times to be mindful of safe practices and cleanliness. The other workers he employed such as a plumber and electrician were also top notch. The standard of his fitting and eye for detail is excellent and nothing is too much trouble, even returning after the fit to fit another appliance we asked for.

I cannot recommend Ian and Sheena highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Sheena's design ideas and insights were superb and she was really good at helping us make choices that fit the budget we had given them without compromising a great design. They were the only vendor we approached who responded with a design after we said we needed to keep the current appliances that were only 4 years old.

We have had our dream kitchen for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier at the way it works for us.

Ian has just put the finishing touches to our kitchen, which is utterly lovely. It's been beautifully done, so well thought out, with such care and attention to detail. Elegant, timeless, restrained. We couldn't have asked for more. Ian is an absolute pleasure to deal with. His workmanship is superb and he is always happy to give creative design ideas. He is now going to design and make a bespoke unit for our dining room. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

We have recently had a new kitchen supplied and fitted by Simmer Kitchens. From the initial contact to the completed project we found Ian to be exceptionally professional carrying out an excellent job. Communication was key and we were updated all the time. Ian project managed it and all the trades people carried out their respective jobs efficiently and effectively, they were all friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend Simmer kitchens . We love our kitchen!

After consultations from a few different kitchen design companies we were recommended Simmer Kitchens. From our first meeting with Ian it was obvious to us both that we had found the right people to help us.
We were pretty narrow minded in what we could have as we considered our space to be fairly small compared to a lot of kitchens, however Ian and Sheena thought differently and were amazing in presenting us with a layout that was very different to what we had but included everything we needed and more. My kitchen is now very aesthetically pleasing and also functional in ways I didn’t imagine possible in a small space.
Ian’s attention to every detail is so reassuring, every question (and I asked a lot!) was answered and any worries allayed. Sheena has an excellent eye for colours and design and once I had chosen a main colour she came in with suggestions for adding another colour and other ideas I would never have thought of, so grateful for her vision.
We had a garage attached to the house accessed through a door in the kitchen, not anymore! Ian designed a utility room flowing through from the kitchen and also built a new wall so we still have a separate space for unsightly bins etc.
I should also mention the trade’s people who Simmer recommend. Not knowing who to get in we were guided by Ian. All of the people he suggested were amazing. Courteous, punctual, friendly and worked to a very high standard – we would without doubt use every one again.
All in all we cannot recommend Simmer Kitchens highly enough.

At the start I thought I would be very stressed but Ian took that stress away from me and made it exciting
