The whole experience so far has been nothing but pleasant, the wonderful staff have all gone beyond their needs to make sure I’m happy and have a great understanding of everything that’s happening!

Tracey was not only so easy to talk too and very helpful with every step of each process but she made me feel comfortable and at ease the whole time.

Andras made the whole process of making sure my eyes were not only in good health but we’re right for the procedure I wanted as easy and relaxing as possible, he also helped me understand a lot more about my eyes; which made me feel even better about having my eyes done!

Tracey has sorted everything for me, finding the right date, the right time, the best way to manage my eyes before and after and has been nothing but brilliant!

A quick and friendly phone call to book my consultation. When I arrived at the centre I was greeted on time by Tracey who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and diligent throughout. The free consultation was extremely thorough, as you would expect and Tracey explained what each test was for, why it was important and made the whole experience informative, pleasant and relaxing. I would liken it to a private medical care experience. First class.

I was later introduced to Andras, who explained the results to me and options available. Andras was extremely knowledgeable, professional and human.

In total the experience took 2 hours, there was no pressure to proceed any further, everyone was super friendly, courteous and professional.

It is clear this team are highly experienced, skilled and qualified. They answered every question, made the whole experience as relaxed and transparent as possible. I was extremely reassured by the whole team and experience. I am now considering whether to proceed and if I do, it won’t be with anyone else.

I went for my consultation regarding options for improving my eyesight at the Chelmsford Branch yesterday. Tracey and Andras made myself and my husband welcome and comfortable. A full range of tests were carried out by Tracey, and Andras talked me through the best option for me, which is lens replacement. All pros and potential risks were discussed and I have been provided with comprehensive information regarding the procedure. After weighing up the risks, and reading through some reviews, I have decided to proceed and surgery is booked for September with a clinical phone consultation booked for this coming week. Deposit paid. No hard sell, just polite service and information. So far, so good.

I went to optical express in Chelmsford this week after being diagnosed with having a cataract and discussed the options of treatment, I was made very welcome and felt totally at ease by both Tracey and Andrus during a very thorough eye examination to which I had never had before in so much detail , the whole consultation was explained fully with all options discussed with a positive but not pushy appointment - the choice is yours ultimately The consultation was free and I would recommend this company and the branch in the future to anyone that needs any form of eye operation.
I will now add to this after my recovery I unfortunately suffered with a detached retina - unfortunately a very rare occurrence which I may add had nothing to to with the surgery to which I had, but after noticing a change I'm my vision I contacted Tracey and she arranged to get me in the same day - this was the best call I made as to discover I could loose my sight in one eye virtually overnight I was then admitted to a private eye hospital in London to be operated on by a world leading surgeon with regular follow ups to a very thorough standard all covered by optical express.
I can add my vision is now near on perfect and I get weekly phone calls to check my progress - for me personally I can not recommended this branch enough (2 friends have now arranged treatment from my recommendation).
My situation in general is extremely rare but without all the help and experience given my life could have been a lot different .

Contact Lens user for around 25 yes and now better than 20/20 vision without the need of contact lens or spectacles. It's been 3 months since I had my LASEK. Having high prescription of -8 and fair amount of stigmatism, this surgery definitely changed my life in a more positive way. Optical express is definitely worth for every penny that I spent.

Had a consultation on Saturday at the Chelmsford branch. Very friendly greeting and was kept well informed whilst I had a short wait for my consultation. I had a series of tests which were all explained to me and then I was seen by the ophthalmologist Andras who explained the results of my tests and clearly explained the best option for me. After this I was seen by Tracey who run through everything with me again to make sure I understood the proposed procedure. Various finance options are available and these were all explained too. It was great to be able to book my surgery and pre and post appointments there and then. I was given lots of information to take away and read and have since had a follow up phone call which was nice. Look forward to speaking to the surgeon this week and my surgery booked for the end of this month. Great service and very impressed.

Had a consultation with the Chelmsford office and I must say they were really helpful, professional and gave me all the information I needed after a very thorough examination. They went through my options and price plans so I knew the costings. Although I decided not to go ahead with the surgery at the moment for work reasons, I would definitely use them in the future. From the interactions I’ve had so far I would recommend optical express.

I recently had a consultation with Nicola for lens replacement surgery tests. Nicola took me through a number of comprehensive. She took the time to put me at ease, explaining each test and talking me through what she was doing. All in all she made the experience as good as it could be.
Following the consultation I felt comfortable enough with the service provided and thoroughness of the tests that I booked the surgery.
