Abode Affordable Ironing & Laundry Services

Well i can’t begin to say how impressed i was with the service at abode. I literally had 5 huge bags full of clothes that had been kept in a storage cupboard for nearly a year. As we are moving i wanted the clothes to be clean and fresh ready for the move and i thought that getting it done by a professional would save me so much time and hassle (not lazy just had a baby lol) When i went to pick it up, it nearly took up the whole shop haha but wow, it was all hanged, folded, separated into trousers, tops, pyjamas etc. it must have taken ages! The young girl in the shop was so sweet and so helpful, helping me pack my mini shop into bags so i could load up the car, and Bonita was so helpful over the phone. Thank you so much guys i will be highly recommending you to everyone i know and will be using you again in the future, don’t worry.....it won’t be as many clothes next time haha

I stayed at the Bexley Village Hotel in August, rounding off a month-long solo European trip, and was desperate to find a laundromat or laundry service nearby. I felt like the luckiest person on the planet to find Abode literally right next door to the hotel! Two lovely ladies took care of my laundry for me for an extremely reasonable price, and did me even one better by having it ready by the end of the day! Same day service, and all with cheerful attitudes. I cannot recommend this cosy business highly enough. Don’t let any bad reviews deter you; I was concerned when I read them myself, but, boy am I glad to prove them completely false!

First of all, they don't accept credit cards, only cash and when I asked for a receipt they wrote a piece of paper with the price.
For this kind of place, £18 for a bag with two shirts, one pair of trousers and underwear makes no sense. I don't recommend the place but I didn't find any other around.

I started using Abode when my eldest was a baby, she’s 16 now!! Pick ups and drops off are always on time, and it’s great value for money. Working full time it’s difficult to find the time to iron so I find this service really helpful.

Very efficient service over a number of years.
Well worth giving a try so you can judge the level of service offered.
