Lighthouse Medical Centre

Repeat prescriptions are never at the pharmacy when they've been ordered, I then have to go back to the surgery to chase the prescription, then back to the pharmacy to collect, even though I give them the 7 days notification they request. This is a regular routine.
I am informed the doctor will phone me later in the day to arrange an appointment for me to go to the surgery to see the doctor, I wait 7 hours from my call with no phone call, I call the surgery before it closes to be informed that the Dr is looking in my notes at the present time and will ring me shortly, guess what no call.

Receptionist yesterday was friendly and helpful and asked me to call this morning to book an appointment with the physio only to be told I can't see the physio and to go to a & e. So why couldn't they tell me that yesterday instead leave me in pain all night.

Dr David McConnell a very dedicated and conscientious doctor. Can't praise him enough for the support he's given me over the years and I was one of those women didn't want a male doctor all that time ago

Disorganised practice. Staff fob you off with promises to ring back and then don't. Someone needs to sort this surgery out. It's just causing stress and misery to their patients and probably the staff as well.

Everytime I've had to be contacted by this place they miss my appointment time and ring me right at the end of the day! Terrible they can't even stick to appointments

Generally the actual doctors there are quite good when you can get an appointment but the reception staff are full of it they like to make things up and tell lies and story's if you get the receptionist Rihanna wacth out for her she likes to make up serious lies when you tell her your gonna go through the head of practice about them all because they refused to help with medication when there was no physical way we could get to the surgery changing doctors for all in our family as had enough with the ridiculous rudeness from reception staff absolute joke

I have always received excellent service. After sending info through to them last night I got a phone call just after 9.00 this morning. Doctor in no hurry, just wanted to help with a face to face appointment arranged for this afternoon. Would definitely recommend this surgery
