Broadwater Medical Centre

I feel compelled to review as I know the nonsense out there re GPS. I have received nothing but amazing care from all the staff at the surgery recently. The receptionists are helpful friendly and knowledgeable and the medical staff have been nothing but kind and attentive. I do not often contact them but have done recently and am tired of the grief these hard working people get. They do an amazing job even though they are being chronically underfunded.

I phoned for an appointment feeling very anxious. The kind professional receptionist made such a difference, Thank you to all the staff at Broadwater Medical Centre for the best care.

I've only just moved to the area and had a flare-up of a chronic condition. From first to last I received excellent, kind and professional help. The receptionist was welcoming, Nurse Michaela so knowledgeable and insightful, the Doctor likewise.
I felt so well-treated from the initial phone-call to going off to hospital. Lovely Gemma even had time to make a cup of tea!
I thoroughly recommend this surgery and I feel my health is in really good hands.

I've been with broadwater medical centre since the day i was born, I'm 31 years old and never had a problem getting an appointment, until covid hit. Over 2 years on and i still can't get an appointment. I ring up every morning to be told all the appointments are allocated for the day, but i can't book in advance?! What is going on??

I've been with Broadwater Medical Centre for almost my entire life, I'm 24 now and I have been with them since I was around 2 years old.

They know my entire medical history, both physical and mental health and the many conditions I have.
I've not had many issues with the surgery (with an exception of certain GPs I refuse to see due to the way they have treated me) or pharmacy next door.
But this year, has been an absolute nightmare.

Between medication mess ups, miscommunication (and outright lying to me) and being pushed into an autistic meltdown by a GP for yelling at me for an entire appointment, I'm now considering whether or not I should move surgeries. Obviously I don't want to, as this is so familiar for me and the only place I've ever regularly been for medical care.

But I will be submitting a complaint to the NHS.

Always ring back promptly after eConsult. Usually seen within 24 hours. Across different disciplines they have been really good; they a great team.

I've moved so unfortunately now unable to use this GP, which is gutting.
I have to say they have been amazing for the last 12 years I've been with them. Never had trouble booking an appointment, and you rarely have to wait to be seen.
Considering the amount of pressure GPs etc have been under, I just can't fault them.

I had a recent heart problem, and cannot fault my treatment over several weeks, but then that's what I've always found by which ever Doctor I've seen at this surgery...Nurses and receptionists included.
