I'm delighted with the excellent standard of service and care I have received at Hedgemans Medical Centre. Doctor Ahmed is wonderful, I'm greatful to her for the excellent prompt treatment she always provides not only to myself but also my children. The nurses at the clinic are warm and caring and took excellent care of me when I had gestational diabetes.
Any requests made to the practice manager are promptly dealth with in the most expedient way. Last but not least, the frontline reception staff make their best effort to accommodate me when I have requested emergency appointments. Thank you for your care and concern Christine😊

The receptionist are friendly and helpful. Never seen on time, even if you arrive early. Sometimes long wait on the phone. There's only one good nurse and one good doctor, the rest I avoid seeing. Always busy. Only 2 parking spaces opposite the surgery which are normally taken.

The male doctor is amazing. Receptionists are lovely but it takes me at least ten minutes to get through to them which is a bit annoying. Nurses are friendly and calm which is very relaxing

All the reception staff are accomodating and always seem to provide the earliest opportunity to access services. The Nurses and Drs are attentive and reassuring. Have never had any concern with this practice.

My family and I have been registered with this practice for over 6 years and have always received good medical care and LOVED everything about the surgery and was incredibly happy, but I was shocked by two new reception staff. Their attitude is defensive, awful and rude. As a patient, you are treated as an inconvenience, make you feel like you are an absolute nuisance. Practice management needs to remind receptionists patience to be treated by rude, arrogant, and patronizing staff is not appreciated. They do not know anything about customer service, grumpy and horrible persons. They are in the wrong job. They are ruining the hard work being put in by the clinicians and giving the surgery a bad name! Bring previous reception staff back!!!

Where to start, I am very disappointed with the services, I received from the reception staff. I have been with the practice for 12 years and I have never came across such rude and unprofessional receptionist . My husband phoned to get an appointment with the doctors and was told that there’s no appointment for 3 week and was given out of hours which was no help. He ended up A&E for breathing difficulties. Discharge and was advised by them need a urgent follow up appointment with the gp but when he called the surgery the receptionist was really rude and my husband got really frustrated with her, she was no help, telling him she can’t spend all her time with him and I had to intervene and take the phone off him, she was telling me how she can’t see the discharge letter and how I should ring the A&E and request from them, because she can’t manage the phones and the front door and general enquiries, waste her time looking for the letter, so he can get appointment. After working for 13 years in NHS I never come across such incompetent rude reception staff in my life. previous reception staff and management team where amazing, I don’t what happened and the practice manager should be aware of this, if they are running a service here, then they should give good customer service here. If no improvement then I will be making and official complaint to CCG. This is people health and lives they are playing with.

its a disgrace how you operate a doctors practice, covid is almost over when the whole country opens up our local surgery is playing a micky mouse game. some one has to take responsibility how to operate when customers need it , no one answer phone calls no matter what time you call very unhelpful.
