The best surgery in Ilford by far, never wait long for an appointment, receptionists happy to help and very polite the Doctors that stands out Dr Attal and Dr Sinha they go that extra mile and are so easy to talk to.
Highly recommend this surgery better than any poly clinic.

Thank you

I've not been registered here long but so far i've been very disappointed.
The first time was great but since then I've tried to call at 8 and every few minutes after 8 and simply cant get through to anyone.

This is now the 2nd occasion i need to get through to them to book a telephone appointment and i call every few minutes, literally, from 8:00 and somehow the line is always busy. I end up getting through to someone at 10:00 with all bookings taken up and therefore have to get a booking with grays community hospital instead a few days later.

Utterly useless.

25 minutes to get through to them have to send a picture, followed by waiting all day for doctor to ring wrong number twice after calling sugery for update all day wasted and no call or diagnosis from doctor. What a waste or resource surely face to face appointment saves time for everyone. I work and pay my taxes what for !! Doctors now closed !? Another day of waiting or start the telephone process agian, I. The hope you can join the queue or cut off over 30 attempts to just get through this morning.

20/10/22 14:00 appointment and expected to wait 40 minutes to be seen and the reason for the delay was the nurse is running behind even though no-one was in there and then walks into the reception drinking tea and eating cake.
Absolute disgrace.

Which I had option to give 0 stars. This is the worst GP in Grays. My dad has not been able to see his doctor for over a year only nurse appointment. Every time I call in with a problem the doctor calls back and down plays all my symptoms, then says get rest and we follow up in 2 weeks which never happens. I Suffer with sleep apnea, 111 advised my to call GP and get it checked out plus every online test I take for sleep apnea says I need to go GP as the questions I answered indicate I have sleep apnea but every time I call Balfour Medical Centre and tell Dr Basu this information he down plays it and says we review in 2 weeks. Round all this off with the worst customer service and rude admin staff. The government need to take a look at this place. Waste of space and tax payers money.

Unfortunately it's the only gp wich was available, but the worst, please if you read my message don't sign in!!!especially if you have kids!!the old doctor treating us that you are scared to call when you are sick, very rude,I don't allowed no one to talk to me like that, you need to feel embarrassed if you need help, for what I'm paying then so much taxes???!!!my son over 3 months sick, and over 6 weeks coughing until he doesn't die he will not be referred to a specialist!!!!unbelievable

Call on the morning of/8am to get an appointment over the phone FOR THAT DAY ONLY! Its appalling to not be able to make an appointment with your doctor! i call at 9 after the commute as i don't want to discuss sensitive mental health matters on the phone while on the train and all appointments are gone! Not to mention 21/09/21 surgery was closed at 3:30! I'm honestly shocked at how patients are being made to feel uncared about. I hate complaining but really sick of this every time i wish to speak my doctor i feel discarded.
