Why can’t you book on line to see a GP? I haven’t been able to for months. I get told to ring at 8am which is sometimes impossible as I work. Then when I do ring at 8 I get cut off saying it’s reached it’s maximum. Please get your appointments back on line. No excuses with covid doctors should have been back face to face ages ago. Very poor would not recommend this surgery.

Trying to book an appointment at this surgery is almost impossible, takes a few days to eventually get through, then your told you could you can have an appointment in 3 weeks time.
This hasn't been the first time either.
When you do get to the surgery there's loads of doctors rooms that they have spent money on expanding the surgery but the waiting room is empty.
This must be the case in other surgery's my mother had to wait over 6 weeks to get an appointment in a other surgery in Chesterfield.
Tbh the chemist can take ages to get seen too. The queue can go back to the entrance sometimes while they get to see the addict's.

It’s impossible to get through by telephone to book an appointment
You don’t even get into a queue
The answerphone message just says they cant take your call & cuts you off
What a ridiculous surgery

All the years you pay tax & national insurance & this is how you get treat when you genuinely need medical help

Impossible to see a doctor. I live in Chesterfield but don't work in Chesterfield so I need to know in advance so that I can take a day off. Ringing up on the day isn't an option because I'm at work and all forward appointments are booked up weeks in advance. The current system doesn't work at all for those in employment.

I attended an appointment with Dr Henrietta Bakoshi. She was very nice and thorough with her appointment. A week later I recieved a call, unexpectedly from Dr Bakoshi asking how my condition was and she said she would arrange a referral, she then sent me a link to exercises I could try for my problem. Dr Bakoshi went the extra mile and I was very greatful for it.

Good GPs but impossible to get ahold of. Whenever you try ringing at 0800hr you'll be lucky to even get into the queuing system for 30-45 minutes. 07:59 I generally start ringing and will ring the second they open their lines, still get the same message about having "too many calls and the queuing system is full", honestly you shouldn't need to ring 40 / 50 times to get into a queue to maybe get an appointment.

What a waste of time trying to get through on the phone
Rang yesterday and told to ring at 8 o clock the next day rang again the next day and all lines busy
This is every time trying to make a appointment then when you get through about four hours later your told the same ring back 8 o clock the next day only way to get a appointment is to get there about 7 o clock and wait with about 20 more people stood in freezing weather outside then your lucky to get a appointment
