This surgery is literally a god send. I genuinely do not know what me and my family would do without them we have been at this surgery since it was at Harwood close. It has always been fantastic and absolutely nothing less. The doctors are second to none the main partner is very modest very patient and kind and literally goes that extra mile but also so do all the doctors here. Our little girl was born with a heart defect we were completely supported throughout the entire process and happy to say she had the best care and surgery thanks to the diligence of the doctors and also nurse practitioner. They are always friendly and nothing is too much bother prescriptions are excellent never late and again a friendly voice on the phone which is a bonus! Today we had to rush our daughter on one of her many breathing episodes and she is un afraid of doctors due to how lovely he is with her and again they all are but our main doctor is incredible. We are home and out of hospital within hours due to the rapid response from him and getting her into the ward straightaway absolutely no issues!
I have to say all of the nurses are fantastic so friendly and care too but also and this is the big shocker the receptionists are so so lovely honestly they are kind patient friendly and nothing is too much for them this is reflective of how this surgery runs the doctors everybody here works as a team and are happy in their wok and when you are anxious or tearful many occasion they have helped me through so much and never complained or rushed me. And given the pandemic as well I was always seen face to face if the doctor felt it necessary care was not compromised and I know a lot of surgeries did lapse on this I just hope people realise how hard this surgery works and feel lucky to be at the surgery as my family genuinely feel blessed
I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel it is important so the staff know they’re appreciated as they should be!

Ive been trying to get an appointment since monday and its been 3 days never been able to book an appointment for my mum. Resecpionist was very rude and told me to call next day. I've called again EVERY SINGLE day for another appointment, but keep being told that I'll have to call again tomorrow as they don't have anything available.

I can only go on my and my mother's experience with kings medical centre and we find them very helpful and courteous and friendly and very thorough when dealing with us.

Went for blood tests, sat waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time then left ithout being seen! They booked me another appointment with no confirmation. That came and went, got a nasty letter from them saying they'll strike me off, now I can't order medication for high blood pressure without spending hours trying to get through on the phone to make an appointment. Absolute shambles, poor service, unprofessiona., Needs investigating..They'll tell me to call the practice manager to discuss, good luck getting through to them! Joke.

The receptionists here are absolutely amazing! Every single time I ring they are always so sympathetic and try their best to fit me in if they can. With the pressure on the NHS at the moment, I can only imagine how much stick they must get from patients who struggle to get appointments, (I completely understand that it is frustrating) but it’s not the receptionists fault! They have always been so kind when I call and make me feel so comfortable. However, I do feel as though the doctors here should put more urgency on particular situations, and after appointments I often feel stupid for going or left in the dark, and there are still problems I have had for a few years that haven’t been escalated. I have never really had an absolutely awful experience with the doctors, but I do just wish that they investigated options instead of blaming most problems on gaining weight… (even just a few pounds over a few years) just feels like an excuse

I have been trying to make an antidepressant review for over a week. I am currently out of medication and can't be prescribed any more until I've had the review.

I rang on Monday 5th to make an appointment, but the doctor called me while I was at work and I could not get to the phone. I called again on the Wednesday and no appointments were available. I received a message on Friday asking me to ring the practice, which I did as soon as I finished work at 5pm. I told the receptionist that unfortunately I work 9-5 in the week and I am unable to use my phone, so she said that's fine, I'll book you in for 5:20pm on Tuesday.

Tuesday came, and the doctor called me at 1:30pm and 3:30pm, at a time when I'd already specifically said I could not answer the phone, and called my landlines, when she knew I was at work.
5:20pm came, and nobody called me, so as you can imagine I was seething. I called the surgery and was left on hold for 46 minutes, which I eventually gave up on because I wasn't getting anywhere.

I've called again EVERY SINGLE day for another appointment, but keep being told that I'll have to call again tomorrow as they don't have anything available, all the while my supply of medication has been dwindling. I've now not had my antidepressants for 3 days. It's a good job this is not truly life saving medication.

I called the practice FOURTY FIVE times this morning. Eventually, I got through, and tried to make an appointment again for after work when I am available. The receptionist told me that they don't do appointments after 5pm, even though I'd booked one last week. She offered me an appointment on Tuesday, and I said I would have been out of my medication for a week by then.

This practise is truly a shambles. You should never have merged with Harwood Close, you have far too many patients for the hours you do. I will be looking for a new doctors surgery.
