I have to say all of the nurses are fantastic so friendly and care too but also and this is the big shocker the receptionists are so so lovely honestly they are kind patient friendly and nothing is too much for them this is reflective of how this surgery runs the doctors everybody here works as a team and are happy in their wok and when you are anxious or tearful many occasion they have helped me through so much and never complained or rushed me. And given the pandemic as well I was always seen face to face if the doctor felt it necessary care was not compromised and I know a lot of surgeries did lapse on this I just hope people realise how hard this surgery works and feel lucky to be at the surgery as my family genuinely feel blessed
I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel it is important so the staff know they’re appreciated as they should be!
I rang on Monday 5th to make an appointment, but the doctor called me while I was at work and I could not get to the phone. I called again on the Wednesday and no appointments were available. I received a message on Friday asking me to ring the practice, which I did as soon as I finished work at 5pm. I told the receptionist that unfortunately I work 9-5 in the week and I am unable to use my phone, so she said that's fine, I'll book you in for 5:20pm on Tuesday.
Tuesday came, and the doctor called me at 1:30pm and 3:30pm, at a time when I'd already specifically said I could not answer the phone, and called my landlines, when she knew I was at work.
5:20pm came, and nobody called me, so as you can imagine I was seething. I called the surgery and was left on hold for 46 minutes, which I eventually gave up on because I wasn't getting anywhere.
I've called again EVERY SINGLE day for another appointment, but keep being told that I'll have to call again tomorrow as they don't have anything available, all the while my supply of medication has been dwindling. I've now not had my antidepressants for 3 days. It's a good job this is not truly life saving medication.
I called the practice FOURTY FIVE times this morning. Eventually, I got through, and tried to make an appointment again for after work when I am available. The receptionist told me that they don't do appointments after 5pm, even though I'd booked one last week. She offered me an appointment on Tuesday, and I said I would have been out of my medication for a week by then.
This practise is truly a shambles. You should never have merged with Harwood Close, you have far too many patients for the hours you do. I will be looking for a new doctors surgery.
