An absolute disgrace! Hang your heads in shame! A letter was sent to these awful people on Tuesday. Advising I needed urgent medication. I have a breathing condition. Nothing arrived on Tuesday or Wednesday
I contacted them. Got another selective bully from this practice. Who advised I would have to wait! And they have 20000 patients. Well what do they class as urgent? Breathing is one of them! I contacted 111 who sent an ambulance as I obviously am bad! That really is the final straw with these awful people. They provide no care whatsoever. . Worth minus 1 million stars!

I am 58. I have been domiciled in cities, towns and villages.
Albany House a centrally located surgery serving a fairly impoverished urban area are an exceptional service in my experience
From the first class team at reception including the lovely and genuinely empathy and support provided by Dot (and her colleagues)
Nursing staff are a mini stand alone A&E
The young team of multi cultural Doctors and nursing practitioners are the best GPs I have ever encountered. I will not single out an individual as they very obviously coordinate well.
I am eternally grateful for the urgency and professionalism and the range knowledge available
The pressures these caring folk endure is admirable
Albany House is a credit to Wellingborough

The receptionist are the most rude stuck up bunch of obnoxious people I've ever met! After ringing up when they first open and being on the phone for 1 hour and 13 mins I get told there's no appointments! I voiced I'm disabled and can't come down to post a request for pain killers and was told "that's not my problem"

I’d give no stars at all if I could! I suffer with a long term health condition which not only causes me severe pain and impacts on my mobility but now my mental health is also suffering due to the lack of care. I have been trying to see my GP for over 2 years now but because you’re unable to book a future appointment you must call on the day and it must be as an emergency only. As my condition is not considered as such, I am still unable to get an appointment, even though the DWP contacted them directly concerned about my well-being! Repeat prescriptions have not been issued as a review is required and yet even this is not considered as an emergency! An absolute disgrace to the NHS

Poor service every time!!
Every time I call at least 40+ people in the queue, 1hour 35 mins on hold to be told there are no appointments. You ask why you were on hold for so long to be told you didn’t have to hold and to use the call back service. The point I’m making is is still be waiting 1hour 35 mins to be told there are no appointments. The receptionists are rude and have no empathy, robotic is a good way to describe them.

I’ve been a loyal patient to Albany house for over 18 years. They are always so quick to answer the phone and give me appointments when necessary. The male receptionists are so friendly especially the one with the long beard. On one occasion my medication wasn’t ready to collect yet, but they always ring me to tell me it’s ready instead of waiting around for it. Staff are all friendly :)

Feeling unwell and hard to breathe I called from 8.30 onwards. Try abd try and try again. Line was constantly engaged which shows the pressure of general.practice. by 3pm I got a call queue being number 21 in the line and kept holding. By 3.30 the lady said I would have to go to the hub as they had totally nothing, not even emergencies to give. 7pm I got the call from the hub Dr Khan was his name. He knew my plight and medication issued which partner collected in an hour.

I could moan, but I know how real this is. The fight to get help is real. The team worked across the surgery to do what they can. I was better within 30 minutes of the medication and now recovering. I think you deserve praise for working under that kind of pressure. Well done all of you.

Absolutely disgraceful. The aim should be to help their patients out, this practice is completely opposite. I suffer with bad angina and sinuses. As this isn't cov... Related query , they ignored me totally. I've requested an appointment, unfortunately for them this isn't urgent. If you will continue treating your patients this way, people will have no chances to survive. I will change this disquieting practice. Shame on you.
