People only ever leave bad reviews when they have a negative experience so I thought I would actually be bothered to leave these guys a nice one.
The Drs here is not perfect but my Dr goes beyond the call of duty and so does all the staff. Sometimes the staff can be sharp but the NHS is under strain and to be honest I have seen some patients be rude as hell and I can't blame staff for being short sometimes. This surgery is one of the best in Norwich and will do everything they can within their power to help you if you just keep your cool with them. Don't argue with them and just treat them with respect and you will get the help you require. A great Dr that I value very much 5* from me.

As a new patient here since December I was very wary of the bad reviews seen on here. I felt after having several appointments with the doctors, the asthma nurse and the hca that I had to leave a positive review as people usually only write negative ones.

My experience so far has been good. The staff are lovely and I feel they really listen during appointments. I also feel they are genuinely concerned for the health issues presented offering follow up appointments as and when needed not just rush though and fobbing illness off like I have experienced in the past.

The receptionists have been accommodating in finding suitable appointments for me to fit in with my work pattern and the waiting room is relaxing and comfortable and has never been crowded.
Ok so the appointments can run over and I have been left sitting in the waiting room for a while after my appointment time but the amount of patients that are registered this is typical in any nhs gp surgery. The staff have always been very apologetic and yes some patients appointments are going to run over the 10 minutes allocated that's just how it is. Some people do need a little longer with the doctor.

I am more than happy with this surgery and for me it is convenient and close by. Thank you to all the staff who work hard to provide this service.

This is a really nice practice. The receptionists are always very pleasant, and the doctors and nurses are as well. Although all doctors ive seen are great, I would like to personally mention Dr Bethanpudy. He is very organised and goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you Tuckswood :)

I am complaining about the way my daughter has been treated by Tuckswood surgery, my daughter suffers from mental health problems and the medication she takes has to be monitored by having an ECG every six months and has been giveven an appointment three times in the last month and every time they have canceled them this is absolutely disgusting. I would like to say if your staff are to frightened to work may I suggest you sack your staff and hire staff that are willing to work.

Four years ago I was diagnosed with my problem - degenerative spondylosis with compromise of left L5 and S1 nerve.
All “treatment” started in your Tuckswood surgery - that is, pseudo-medical assistance.
Everything works by the patient's suggestion of treatment ( asking for an MRI referral, steroid injection, whatever else). 4 years ago I was in bed for a month because my leg was cut off - sciatica.
4 years have passed and I have a constant problem, limited movement, pain relapses, stiffness, back pain , numbness, etc.
I had to change my full time job to 20 hours a week - because never ending sciatica.
All I got during 4 years was advice: painkillers, physio exercise, yoga, etc.
4 years had to pass for the GP to think that it was worth sending me for an spinal injection (suggesting to GP by me!).
The problem with moving my all left leg has returned again and the GP is based on an MRI from 4 years ago (!).
Today I can't wait for a first appointment to Pain Management department (because I have to wait an unlimited time of 18 weeks or more).
4 years passed and I don't know what to do - no help!. No surgery, no specialist , no treatment, no good medications, nothing.

Called at 8am as advised day before, receptionist was lovely so far so good.
I get a telephone appointment for that afternoon..ok better than nothing.
The Doctor that rang me was terrible, he made me feel as if I had really put him out by requesting an appointment. Then he just would not listen. I have had many chest infections in my life and knew this was one...but he was insisting it was just a cold and would not give me antibiotics. 1 week of being in bed, missing work and wages later, guess what, It's a chest infection and antibiotics come tomorrow! Could have saved me a lot of discomfort and money had he not been so arrogant. I will never speak to him again.
