I have been calling every month for the last 3 months with the same issue and only on the 3rd call have been finally called to come and see the doctor. First two have been giving antibiotics after over the phone appointments and I was already afraid to have this course again for the 3rd time within such a short time. After 3rd time, since I had another doctor to talk with, I am getting some more attention and having a hope that maybe my health can be improved.

Overall, renovation is going on and to park is a mission, inside is like building site.

Another useless surgery where nobody can be bothered with their patients. Some of us actually work at 8am and can't be holding onto a phone for the chance of just maybe you will get to speak to a doctor, that's if the the "care navigator " deams that you fit the criteria. Can't imagine why people are just going up the a&e when this is the service that we get.

Atrocious medical practice - the worst I have ever experienced in over 70 years. The so-called appointments system is a joke. If yu are lucky enough to get through after 8 am to a 'care navigator', you will be told that a doctor will telephone you in the first instance (I can live with that), but they will not confirm a time when this might occur. So you sit at home all morning like a lemon, or you take your phone out with you and risk having to discuss your medical issues, if the call comes, while on the bus or in the middle of Sainsbury's. I have pretty much just given up on them.

I just called the doctor's surgery on behalf of my nanna, and found their service abysmal. I've done the job myself so I understand the pressure they are under. But I'm sorry they act like they are diagnosing the patients.

My family got told last week to call back at 8am the following day which they did. The doctor ordered a blood test for her and that same evening about 9:30 the hospital called and expressed their concerns. She was the admitted to hospital that evening.

When she was discharged Friday, and was told to call her surgery Monday, so I did this for her. I called the surgery 81 times before I even managed to get through to the "queue" stage. This seriously needs to be improved. I'm so lucky my surgery joins a queue straight away but gives you a number in it.

When I asked for a call for my Nanna the receptionist replied we haven't got the discharge notes yet leave it with me. After last week I will not take advice from them..if the hospital has requested the patient speaks to the doctor then they should. I was only simply doing my nanna a favour so she didn't have to dial the number 81 bloody times in the space of 13 minutes before she could even speak to someone, and with such a disrespectful service given.

It's a shame after they've been there for years. I'm sure the doctors are lovely but 1 star is all I can give.

No doctor is perfect with the way the nhs is funded currently. But I've moved a lot recently and for ipswich this is the best one I've been too. Never spoken to rudely by staff when I call. Always get an appointment. Drs actually listen to you and don't stare at the computer screen while talking. I went from my previous doctor with clear signs of anxiety and deep depression after a misscariage and they told me nothing they can do after clicking on the screen while I talked. I felt hopeless and at my wits end. I went to this surgery a few days later had the Dr sign me off work, get me in contact with a Councillor and prescribed me a drug to help. He then held my hand and told me I would get through it and he was here to support me. That day will always be held in my heart. The first day I felt seen.

I don't know what's changed, but something has at this surgery. I've called up twice this month and both times I only had to call ONCE (rather than 100+ times). The receptionists (or care advisors) were amazing on both occasions.

I've had really bad experiences with this surgery before so I'm really impressed that they have improved their services.

Awful! After being at this surgery since I was a child, I have finally just had to leave and find another. I call everyday to try and get a quick appointment to review my medication so i can keep recieving it (have run out) and can never get a quick phonecall appointment. I start calling bang on 8am, there's no call queue, its a busy line until 9am, I get through and it's "no more appointments, try again tomorrow".
After 3 months without my medication and not being allowed to request it without this impossible appointment, my symptoms are worsening and I am losing hours sitting on the phone to get nowhere. Also some of the receptionints are VERY cold and rude. I would not advise anyone to register here. I very rarely contact my GP but when I do it's like this everytime.

2 minute and 48 second recorded message on connecting to surgery every time you ring with no option to bypass. A complete waste of time. Only able to book appointments (emergency and non emergency) at 8am which is ridiculous as you can never get through. Looking for another practise....shocking service.
