A wonderful little independent cinema, hot or cold drinks available, plus concessions, all reasonably priced. Two small free car parks and some free on-street parking. There are NO adverts or film trailers, so films start at the advertised time (don't turn up 10-15 minutes late as you would at a chain cinema, you will miss the start of the movie). CASH ONLY.

What a great little cinema. Reminds me so much of the smaller cinemas that I went to as a child.
At a time when the likes of Cineworld are struggling this small local cinema really deserves to keep going & to be well supported. My wife has been many times but watching Fisherman's Friends Two was my first visit, and I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed it. It was so relaxed.
The service was good, the staff were friendly and the cinema was clean & tidy, as were the toilets. We had a mug of tea each, yes a proper china mug and proper tea. Not from a machine. The popcorn was £2.50 with a portion for two.
The cost of the film was £7 each. Everything about The Sherborne Cinema was really good. No adverts, no over-priced drinks, no over-priced sweets, no handbag checks, plus a really good atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. We will definitely visit again, and soon. Thank you.

Beautiful traditional cinema with plenty of parking. Takes you back years to the golden days. Huge leg room, large seat's, plenty of choice for sweets and the grandsons made the most of it. No adverts it's straight into the film dead on time. Will definitely return. Thanks to the friendly young staff. Remember it's CASH ONLY but very reasonably priced.

Pleasant old style cinema. Reminiscent of the flics. Personally very friendly. Small auditorium but plenty of leg room. Excellent price for experience, good sound system. Will definitely go again.

I love this place! It's not luxury (no reclining seats here!) but it's comfortable (good leg room, decent seat) and charming. You can get a cuppa to take in with you, from the vintage ticket office. Screen size is smaller than you'd get at Cineworld/similar but absolutely fine, and the sound isn't as overwhelmingly loud. Considerably cheaper too. A very pleasant way to go OUT out to see a film 📽️

Great little cinema. Cups if tea in real mugs. Popcorn really cheap too but just as good as the expensive kind. Friendly staff. Very affordable. Just make sure you take cash.

Cinema itself is lovely. The staff are great. The screen and sound are all good. My visit was ruined by a family behind me though who were happy to chat loudly through the film. In the end I had to turn around and ask them to shut up!
