Allegro Music Chelmsford

Spent a good while researching which piano I wanted to buy and after choosing one advertised for sale on their site it turned out they didn't have any of the 3 models for sale at all. Why advertise stock you don't have! Complete waste of time amd purchased from a reputable dealer instead.

Excellent service - booked an appointment as I was looking to buy a piano. Jo Cocklin provided a warm, friendly, attentive and professional overview of their current stock. The front door is locked during appointments to allow a quiet and uninterrupted slot for customers to browse, test and choose what they are looking for - yet with no pressure at all to buy. I very much enjoyed Jo's demos too! The other staff were very friendly too and made it far more of a personal experience. Highly recommended and am looking forward to receiving my piano! Thank you.

We went into Allegro Music Chelmsford today to purchase a piano for use by the whole family. We were very impressed by the selection of instruments on offer, and Jo was absolutely superb (and very patient!) in guiding us through various options to find the right one for us. We would thoroughly recommend this shop to anyone.

Allegro is a wonderful shop with kind staff. I often go there to pick up music books to use in my classes. They have a great range of resources to choose from and a huge variety of songbooks. The staff are knowledgeable and are able to advise me when I have any queries.

Great array of instruments in stock and finance deals to suit everyone

I contacted the store about a guitar for my Son and Jo helped me choose the best one for the budget I had. She couldn't have been more helpful. I highly recommend this store.

Visited Allegro Music in Chelmsford today. I needed a classical guitar. Got to try guitars in my price range and decided upon the Jose Ferrer. I am impressed with the service at this store and the lady that served me was very pleasant too. This will be my first choice shop when I come to replace my other guitars.

Visited the shop on 21/9/21, looking to purchase a Violin. Rung the bell and was told by the shop assistant "we don't sell accessories and the shop closes at 5pm" despite Google saying 5.30pm close.

What respectable Music store doesn't sell Violins? I have no idea if they are soon to shut down or have low stock but the gentleman wanted to get rid of me and had no interested in providing me any sort of service. I won't be going back to Allegro Chelmsford
