Good service, reasonable prices and good quality polish. My nails lasted just over a month without lifting or breaking off. They will attempt to do any style you want

Rubbish.

Used to be my go-to nail bar, they were fantastic, however, I went in today to see a load of new faces and all the old staff gone; they must have changed hands and the service is now terrible. I asked to have my acrylics taken off and my own nails underneath manicured nicely. All they did was take the acrylics off, file my nails and put some oil on them. Not even clear polish. For this they charged £16 and wanted to charge an extra 14 (30 in total) just to put a colour on. They've also left marks from the acrylics all over my nails and not buffed them off properly. Terrible service, I won't be back again.

Highly frustrated with this place. I have been coming here for about 5 years , and I've had enough. You book an appointment and wait 2 hours plus to be seen every time. There is no customer service, and the last two times my nails haven't even lasted beyond a week , finally I've had enough and I'm not ever returning.

First upon walking in, I will say the salon is not busy and very well kept. I explained to the nail tech that I had SNS dip and would not mind doing gel but wanted a regular pedicure. The white woman right next to me also was getting gel but she did not have any cash. She explained to the nail tech she would go to the bank and the nail tech did not give her any issue. She left with her bag at hand and came back to the salon. When I was getting my gel not only did the nail tech snip accidentally with the nail tool, but my hands were completely covered with gel and extremely messy. The young woman who did my nails and feet also did not properly listen to me when I said I wanted a regular pedicure. After I was done with my gel and pedicure in gel which I did not agree upon. I kindly let the young woman nail tech know I do have cash but it would not be enough to cover the service. The nail tech pointed me to a ATM and asked me to “leave my purse”. I was very confused because not only was she racially profiling me but the white woman who sat next to me left with her bag in hand to go to the ATM. I would never come back to this nail salon again and I actually encourage no one of color to come here. Especially if you are black. YUCK. It was my first day visiting this area and I would never come back to this place.

Went to this shop and not only did he cut me with the drill but he told me one price upon entering and charged me another upon leaving - this is probably why they don’t have a price list up and the only nail shop I’ve been to in my life that doesn’t. The first guy drilling my nails drilled to hard and too much that he split my nail and also made that nail bed sting and sore. I was in there all in all for 2hours! First and last time going here and I do not recommend! Don’t quote one price then add on more, it’s sneaky and sly!!! If I could mark 0 stars I would’ve.

Booked this nail bar on Treatwell. Pre-paid.

When my nails were finished I was informed that as they are under new management my Treatwell payment wasn't valid. Despite the fact the booking had gone through morning-of and taken my money. I was intimated by the staff and had to go to the cashpoint to take out money and *double pay*. They asked me to leave something whilst I went to the cash point as if they hadn't just robbed ME! Shocking service.

Nails look good though.

This is the second time I go to this salon and the first experience was brilliant. Yesterday however was not. The take off and shaping part was great but as soon as I said I wanted nail art, the manicurist was annoyed. I showed her what I wanted and as I had said previously, it didn't have to be identical, but was a guide of what I wanted. I picked my colours - pink purple and a glitter polish. (The green picture is what I wanted) When she did the initial purple, I thought ok that is a lot but ok, I will trust her based on my previous visit and then it got worse. The glitter polish was applied very sloppily and very quickly in unfinished lines with no care and she got even more fed up when I said i still wanted the 3 colour added and those lines were even worse. I asked for them to be neatened and she got annoyed at me and went straight to telling me off about the fact that the design I wanted being simple and this is not simple anymore. (Because she went off brief not because I asked her to) In the end, I asked for her to remove it and just put one solid colour which she was even more ref up with and just didn't budge. I had to then come up with a way to salvage my nails which we can all see looks like my 12 year niece had a fun day experimenting on. Now cornered into having to just get it done and leave i asked her to fill in the lines and finish with a pink line to make it look like something and well, this is what I am now stuck with. I was told it was £30 but having prepaid on Treatwell I paid £35 for this. I am so angry. I don't earn millions and getting my nails done is a treat and to be told off for speaking up when I am not happy is unacceptable. I was on the verge of tears by the time I left. I was raving about this salon this whole month and now? I want my money back so I can go and have this ridiculousness taken off and redone somewhere else.

Update: I called for a refund and they said they cannot process one because I used Treatwell but have agreed to remove and redo. Here's hoping !

Update 2: I have had my second appointment to correct the nails and am please to say that I had a much better experience. The team that were in had a look at what I wanted, made colour recommendations to ensure a good looking finish and proceeded to complete a wonderful design that I am very happy with. If this will be the service each time, I am likely to revisit but pay in store and not on Treatwell to avoid the extra charge.

Not good, they had prices and discounts advertised then over charged me once they had finished my nails and refused to apply the discount despite spending way more than the required £25, they put my nail art on the wrong way round and didn't redo it and to top it off my acrylics started chipping 2 days after they did them. £50 definitely down the drain. Will not be going back
