I walk here every day with my dog. Such a lovely clean place. Very peaceful and easy to park.

This place is not secure for dogs, our beautiful dog chased a deer on to road and was killed. I was told it was secure but it is not!! We are absolutely devastated! Would have never gone here if we had known. We only went to secure areas as we knew she had prey drive and could be a pain. She had good recall until deer were involved. The fences here are damaged and not secure!!!!

Parking is scarce but ok, restricted entry to vehicles below 1.9m. The park is long and narrow bordered by the river and the trainline. The river flows fast and has some steep banks which lead to us having to pull our dogs out. The trainline has fencing but some is now broken meaning dogs could get onto the trainline if you are not watchful.

The ground is very wet and marshy

But the dogs loved it
