Took our car in for its first service. Battery had been playing up and Service Manager had it replaced. There's a customer waiting area with coffee machine and decent chairs. Very efficient outcome

As I was heading from Portsmouth to Bath I noticed my tyre pressure warning light came on just as I was approaching the turn off for the A34. I went to top up the air in my tyres and noticed there were no caps on the air valves so assume my usual garage forgot to put them back on last time it was in for a service. Having topped up the air it was clear one tyre was the problem so I thought I was in trouble. I sorted the Nissan dealership across the road and, fully expecting I would be told I would need a replacement tyre, I headed over and explained my situation to member of staff. Within 10 minutes they had made sure the tyre pressure was where it needed to be and put 4 new caps on the air valves - all for no charge. I don’t drive a Nissan so their help was even more unexpected. A massive thank you to the lovely Jamie who helped me and made it possible for me to continue my journey.

Unfortunately, tried to ring servicing 3 times over a week - twice reception answered and took a message, 4th time took another message and sent Emil to servicing to ring me back with quote and time to book - another week later STILL no one has rung me! - only wanted the base of my aerial swapped! Is the business not enough? Shocking service (in fact - NO service!)

Misleading auto trader ad , first they advertise automatic and when you enquire after spending time negotiating price I got told it's manual

I had a really disappointing experience with Martins Nissan Winchester. I had arranged an appointment this morning to view and test drive a car they were selling. I had travelled quite far for my appointment and was disappointed to be told when I arrived that the car was sold yesterday. They said they emailed me to let me know. When I checked my emails I saw they had emailed me very shortly before my appointment (10 mins before) which obviously I didn’t receive as I was travelling down. They didn’t call me or let me know the day before. They said “we didn’t have your number” which was not true as they had called me back yesterday to arrange the appointment! A completely wasted trip (in fuel and time) and very unprofessional to treat potential buyers like this.

We have just bought a new car for our daughter from Martins in Winchester - and want to thank James for all his help, advice, and knowledge.

We were keen to buy a car that day. Before coming to Nissan, we visited two other dealerships in the same road.

At one, the sales manager was out getting some petrol or similar, and was apparently going to return in a couple of minutes. 20 min later, we said we had to leave, no one bothered to take our details.

The other dealership, was equally less than enthusiastic.

The minute we went into Nissan, James was friendly, welcoming, and most of all knowledgeable. He understood exactly what we were looking and gave the best advice as to the car we should buy.

A week later, we collected our new car. We were tempted to revisit the two other dealerships which were so disinterested, and quote Pretty Woman ... "You work on commission right?? Big mistake, huge" ...

All thanks to James, and also for making the handover so smooth as well.
