Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Loughborough

Worst customer service imaginable. Phoned up to ask a simple question regarding why I hadn’t received any solution with my contact lenses. Member of staff on the phone was rude and argumentative saying that it was my fault for cancelling it. When I stated that I hadn’t cancelled it and that someone in store had done it without my permission, she continued being rude and saying I was to blame. Whenever I asked a simple question about anything she continued to scream at me saying I should call the number she gave me, as “they can deal with you.” When she stated that I hadn’t been for a check up recently I said that “I made one but someone called and cancelled it saying I didn’t need to come it” her response was “why would we do something like that?” I don’t know, but I’m glad I didn’t come in. Can’t imagine how horrid you would be in person. I thought Specsavers Loughborough knew better than to bully their customers. I went and changed branch immediately after.

Polite and friendly staff...mostly. The eye test was brill and the staff were lovely. My bad experience was with a male member of staff in a blue shirt when it came to choosing frames. He was pretty blatant that he didn't have time for me other than to take payment for my OCT test. Weither it was because I'm an NHS patient or because of my appearance I don't know, but in my 60 second interaction with him, I was left disappointed. He should have been more professional regardless. Defiantly not suited to a customer facing role in my opinion and experience.

The staff are absolutely brilliant, the girl who saw me was second to none, Samia Ahmed is her name, in the 2 years since I first came in the quality of professionalism is impeccable, many thanks to you all.

The level of service you get is so much higher than you would expect from a high street 'mass' opticians. At no point did I feel rushed, everything was very personal. I felt the optician herself literally could not have been better.

The front of house team said they'd call me when some new frames were on sale, and honestly I think I've just got use to poor quality service because I didn't expect them to call, I expected to have to call to check. But they called me, they did some custom reglazing for me. Absolutely phenomenal service throughout.

Loughborough store manager should be very proud of their team. I would say it was an examplar in customer experience.

My teenage son had a wonderful experience at Specsavers. A lovely gentleman I think his name was Louie was really professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He spent time showing my son how to use the lenses and explaining Payments. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I am super great full Thankyou

Many thanks for the care I received yesterday worrying that my contact lenses were stuck. I was seen quickly; the Optician I saw was very thorough and reassuring and the Reception staff kind and helpful - thank you all.

I had a pair of glasses for less than 12 months. The arm fell off they said they could not repair and recommend a new eye test. No replacement, guarantee or help.Loughborough shop. No customer care or interest in my predicament. I’m 83 years of age and obviously don’t matter to these people. Never again.

I had visited Specsavers Loughborough to choose my second pair of glasses and again was very pleased with the customer service I received. I was given ample time to browse and the lovely Julie was so helpful in finding me frames that suited me. She was again the same member of staff who served me when I came to collect my glasses and she was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store!
