Was in town and decided to pop in to have a look at the glasses and make and appointment. Apparently that's now a big nono. I walked in through the door and was halfway into the store before someone ran over asking if I had an appointment, I said "no I am here to make one" and then was told I had to ring a number......ring a number? I was stood right there! Not to mention I wanted to view the range of glasses they had. Needless to say I found the whole thing extremely ridiculous and now feel unwelcome. I took a walk 2 seconds down to vision express and made an appointment within 30seconds. I won't be returning to Specsavers.

Very polite,professional and friendly staff. Also very reasonable prices. One day after my eye test appointment I already had the glasses needed. I would go there again and recommend it to anybody.

I had a problem with the coating on my lenses and they were replaced without quibble, free of charge and delivered within a week. They were replaced in-store for me in an hour. Amazing, courteous and helpful staff! Fantastic.

First visit to this shop but not disappointed. Same quality consistent service I have experienced with all Specsavers shops to date.This time with the Audiologist. Highly recommend.

I am very happy with my new glasses from Specsavers. I was worried the lenses would be too thick, so asked for them to be thinned but was not convinced they would be as good as I wanted them but they are amazing and I’m really pleased 😊

Going to specsaver is like going to the dentist, makes me feel slightly anxious, very military, met at the door, ushered to a desk, details taken, ushered to a seat and wait, don't forget to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment so we can keep you sat down in the waiting area for 20 minutes after my appointment time, I find specsaver a very unusual environment to be in, lots of masks being worn, is it still a guideline or personal preference, and, how many times do I need to be reminded of my appointment, I felt like I was being harrased, 3 text messages, two emails and two phone calls, all in the days leading up to my appointment, you get what you need from specsaver but I just don't think it's a great experience
