Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Hedge End Sainsbury's

I've never been to Specsavers before. This new outlet is conveniently situated just inside Sainsburys, so parking and location are easy. I booked for the geographical convenience, although the company's creative and very clever advertising must have played its part too, I suppose.

However, it It was the level of service here took me by surprise. I received a warm and friendly greeting, the initial tests were carried out with professionalism and the session with the optician was the most complete and thorough I have ever received, bar none. Prices were in line with expectations and budget.

A great experience, outstanding customer service and an eye for detail make this a safe bet for the care of your precious eyesight. I should've gone to Specsavers a long time ago, I can see that now.

We stopped by there as my husband had a problem with his ear aids and he's a customer at Specsavers in Eastleigh. The girl was rude and did not offer any help. We then went to Specsavers in Southampton and my husband had his ear aids fixed. I do not recommend

This would be a one star if I'd only experienced the very rude and patronising lady in store. However, Rob was amazing and I dealt with another very professional lady the third visit. The glasses had to be sent back, due to an error at manufacturing. These things happen, but I'm surprised the lenses aren't checked before the shop dispense them, especially as they have the equipment to do this in store), also a shame the lab have no quality checks when leaving the lab. Anyway, Rob was fabulous and a very nice gentleman. Overall very happy with my new glasses. I've only left 1 star off due to lady's rudeness and incorrect glasses issued. The 4 star is overall happy with glasses and Rob.

I generally hate going to the opticians, not for any reason I just feel as though you are in a test situation, it's personal. But I have to say I had the best experience ever at this store, really wonderful optician (sorry I didn't get his name) made me feel really relaxed and explained a condition l have had for years now better than any doctor has in the past. Well done I may not dread my next appointment quite so much 🤓

Booked online, seen very quickly for a OCT Scan & eye test.

Not for the first time, the Optometrist took time to not only thoroughly examine my eyes but also took the time to explain his findings even talking be through the OCT Scans. He wasn't rushing to get me out the door and there was no pressure applied to purchase the suggested prescription which I value.

For the money, the OCT scan is well worth the extra money. You'd be stunned at the level detail.

Great experience, first time getting my eyes tested. Went as I noticed a change in my eyesight. Got welcomed straight away by a lovely women who told us to wait which was only about a minute, got checked for a a couple of minutes with her then got tested with a nice guy who made the experience really lovely had a nice laugh with him the entire time and explained exactly what was the problem. Gave me a box to put the glasses I want to try on in to help stop cross contamination due to Covid so they can clean them after I used them. Great price had a 2 for 1 deal happening and saved a lot of money with it. I'd definitely recommend going here great experience for my first time getting my eyesight tested 😊

Absolutely fantastic professional service. My Dad had problems with his hearing aids and visited the store for some help. They couldn't fix the issue straight away but offered to source and fix ASAP. Less than 24 hours later he was contacted to say he could collect. Such great customer service. Thanks.
