Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Leyland

I missed my appointment to collect my new readers last Sat, totally forgot 🤦‍♀️ so I went in Sunday as I was in town & the young man was so friendly & said its no problem to collect them now. I was given a seat straight away & the new glasses were adjusted to fit perfectly.

He was very professional- staff are always smartly dressed and very courteous. I felt sorry for the young man being inside on a lovely sunny day wearing shirt & tie etc but he chatted away happily & was quick and professional in doing the paperwork so I was in & out in no time.

I noticed from 11 days ago when I'd had the eye check up the building works has come on amazingly & the new flooring & customer booths looked great!

It's definitely a fab opticians with knowledgeable, friendly staff and great service.

They don’t answer the phone. I’ve tried numerous times. Worst thing is they make you spend ages listening to automated messages before telling you to ‘please call back’. My husband wants to make an appointment to buy new glasses, and their online appointment system doesn’t cover this, only eye tests. I have already bought my glasses elsewhere, and Hubby is thinking of doing the same. Specsavers, you need to improve your customer telephone experience!

The young chap repaired cleaned and returned my glasses in 5 minutes without any charges or complaints. Just how service should be. What a great young man. Thanks.

My mum had a hearing test and all the staff were so nice to us. I had my guide dog with me and there was no problem taking him in. Great service from very helpful staff who explained everything and answered any questions. I would definitely recommend Specsavers and this particular branch very highly.

I recently had my first visit to Specsavers and am so happy I moved opticians, the staff are lovely here and so professional.
I would like to especially say thank you to Ady who did my glasses fitting and handover, he was great and after receiving an earful from a bad tempered customer in the shop he didn't let it affect his professionalism or mood and working in retail myself this is sometimes a difficult thing to do. As much as some businesses like to believe the motto the customer is always right in this instance that wasn't the case, some people just carry a chip on their shoulder 🙃

The staff at Specsavers Leyland are so professional, efficient and friendly. Always a pleasure to attend. Good value for money and after care.

After numerous bad experiences, my husband went in for an emergency appointment. They asked him to wait, so he did. An hour later he asked an assistant and they told him to make an appointment in 3 days time. When asked why he was left waiting for an hour, they told him the optician ‘didn’t have his phone with him’. If my husband hadn’t asked he would still be sat there now. No apology or explanation. Do. Not. Go. Here. 1* is too generous but it won’t let me give 0.

Had my hearing tested could hear everything in the shop and not the tones in the headphones. Was invited back for another test a fortnight later. Apparently there had been a mistake with the first test . Didn't and won't be going back.
