Bayfields at Simon Pestell Opticians

I had a comprehensive eye test at Bayfields opticians in Lightwater which was carried out by a very experienced optician who was also very helpful. The two ladies in the shop were also very helpful in helping me decide my next new frame and potential lenses. This was my first visit to the opticians and I was happy to see that they have all the latest technology to carry out a thorough eye test. I would without doubt highly recommend Bayfields opticians in Lightwater.

Having used Simon Pestell for many years and where I loved the local touch and service, I was massively disappointed with Bayfields and will never go back. It has gone from friendly service to hard sell to the extent that I felt trapped and had to invent an excuse to get out. Despite telling the optician and the manager several times that I don't wear glasses, they were insistent that I should buy 3 pairs - for computer work, prescription sunglasses and a general pair of varifocals. I have fed back to them about how I feel (3 times) and asked for a copy of my records and was promised a call that never materialised. Goes down as one of the worst customer experiences of my life.

I had an eye test at Bayfields opticians in Lightwater. The optician was experienced and very helpful. She explained all the test as she went through them and they carried out a thorough eye test . Everyone was really nice and I would highly recommend Bayfields in Lightwater.

Vastly overpriced. I am all for supporting local business but Bayfields take exploiting the local community to the extreme. A simple eye test will set you back £70 and a contact lens check £55. An eye test in Specsavers Camberley or Woking is only £25, so save your self some money, or grab an eye test and also have spare change for a nice meal, and avoid Bayfields.

I had a thorough eye test at this Bayfields opticians. The test was performed by a practicing optician who knew his role very well, and by all accounts from his experience in the business. After the test, the dispensing assistant also performed her role very well by helping me choose an appropriate frame and giving me professional advice. I was impressed by both the optician and dispensing assistant; I was made to feel welcome from the outset. This was my first visit to this opticians. I will return to them if and when I require a check-up and spectacles. I highly recommend this Bayfields opticians in Lightwater to anyone.

Ganine and the rest of the staff at Bayfields are so welcoming and so happy to help with anything you need! Visiting here for both a contact lense check and prescription check on separate occasions, you can tell everyone is so experienced in their knowledge and always explain everything in depth.Thank you! Ayesha ,Ganine and Harry made me feel at so much ease during my appointment .You may find that at some places there is a sense of urgency but not at Bayfields Opticians Lightwater.They spent over an hour with me making sure I was comfortable and well informed during all clinical and non clinical aspects throughout my appointment .Customer care and satisfaction IS THEIR PRIORTY and for that I very grateful and thankful for.Highly recommended and from all the previous ratings I am sure I am not alone.Keep up the good work 😀
