Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Swadlincote

Minus stars if I could give. Just to say after phoning Swadlincote for an appointment which I have to have each year due to family history of glaucoma, was told to find somewhere else in the High Street! Both husband and myself have been customers for many years but did what we were told and gave Vision Express in Burton our trade. Spent a lot of money on glasses and sunglasses so hey your loss I’d say for your truly awful customer service.

Cancelled our appointments 2 weeks on the trot as the Optician rang in sick. Very poor services. Can't give no stars so had to give 1.

Cancelled my appointment 2 times. They where happy to book me in before my free NHS appointment, when I questioned this literally a few days later, the appointment would of been free. Went in last year, very rude towards me. My glasses were not suitable so I went in for a check up, they said there was not change to my prescription however when I decided to try the contact lenses they altered the prescription then, feel it was a way of getting money out of me. The gentleman there think we was the head Manager as he was upstairs on the phone, had an office upstairs. was really rude and intimidating. Never going back to Specsavers in Swadlincote not very professional.Try Ashby Specsavers, they are very polite and helpful.

Appointment cancelled twice, waste of time. Can’t believe getting your eyes tested could be such a pain.

Husband took my glasses in for a screw for the nose pad was told couldn't do ad they were Boots glasses. I worked for opticians and we never refused someone who didn't get their glasses from us. Will never use this company and my lenses are always over £300. So lost a potential customer

I went for my hearing test yesterday.they were brilliant I couldn't ask for a better service I suffer severe depression and I felt brilliant when I came out thankyou very much

Can't fault the team here. Been coming here a while. I have glasses and contacts and have been seen for medical appointments too and can't complain. Friendly and polite 👍

Very bad experience, turned down and refused to do the eye test for a 7 minute delay, even though I called up and informed them about the delay due to heavy traffic.
The person was bit rude and turned me down a critical care nurse with out any human consideration
