I had an appointment for a contract lense consultation. I received a missed call from the branch on Sunday, my appointment was Monday afternoon. They left no message and I just thought that it was a reminder call as I have received numerous email reminders. Now when I booked the appointment online it said if I didn't have my current prescription just to take my glasses which I did. However after waiting in branch on Monday I was told that without my prescription there was nothing they could do. Total waste of time.

I like this opticians BUT you can never ever get an appointment. They send me an appointment reminder but I can never get my son or myself in anyway.
So I have to book in to Northfield & all specsavers are franchises so each shop you go to, you are treated like a new customer as they don't have any of your details from the previous shop(s)
It's a shame because as I say I like it here. It's close to home, clean, modern & the staff are lovely but they need to sort out the amount of people they have registered with them, I can get a GP appointment easier and we all know that's saying something.

Tring to get heating aids for my mother, said it would be two weeks wait. Now in 3rd week and no appointment as yet. Appointments very hard to book as well.

Two appointments so far. Waited for nearly an hour past the appointment time for each. Trialled some new contact lens but not told the follow up appointment would be impossible to book - 5 weeks later. Definitely not a place to go if you need timely resolution

I was in the store following up my prescription for new specticals. I was attended too by Elizabeth (one of the Managers) she was friendly and efficient. I am presently waiting for a call to go and collect my new specticals.

Had an eye test at Longbridge branch and was seen promptly on arrival. Each member of staff were polite and friendly. Big shout out to Andrew who went the extra mile by offering me a cuppa, also offering to give my glasses a clean for me and sort out an existing issue with my present glasses. It really is the little things that make a big difference where customer service is concerned.

Good service, didn't have to wait long (about 10 mins on my appt time). Proficient Optometrist , discussed problems and remedies. Helpful, polite staff.

Sorry i didnt get the name of the guy in specsavers longbridge today, he was a life saver, my reading glasses broke Christmas day, the arm snapped off completely, he changed my lenses from an older identical pair of glasses i had, so fast and very polite, thank you
