We are on holiday from Northampton and the screw fell out of my wife's glasses! 🤦 Popped in in the off-chance to see if they could be repaired, the lady who greeted me was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful! She fixed them in five minutes and didn't even charge. Thank you so much, disaster averted! 10/10.

My wife and I recently had eye tests and subsequently new glasses at a vision express store - there service and quality was shocking (Sunglasses that were sent with clear lenses being just one.) So we did like the advert says - we went to Specsavers- what a difference much more thorough and accurate exam and the optician(sorry didn’t get a name) was very thorough when it came to selecting frames one of the store assistants- Phil, was a huge help helping us to get the best suited frames. Overall a fantastic service from all involved at Wrexham Specsavers

I was sent an email to say my eye test was over due, so booked online to get it done in the Wrexham branch, confirmation email received with the branch name, date and time. Arrived at the date and time booked in for to be told we have no record of your booking. Showed the email confirming the date and time, was asked to wait in waiting area, asked if I was paying or had a voucher said I was paying. Funny in less than 10 minutes I was whisked through for every test they could throw at me I declined one but still had it done then after that they Well and truly robbed me blind for 1 set of glasses. I paid the same price for 2 sets of glass on my last trip there. Not amused by it all seems that my 1st trip they bent over backwards to get my custom now they just want to fleece you, if got 2 pairs of glasses it would of been close to £600.00 . Would mind the 2st trip I asked for the 2 sets of glasses to be done exactly the same, they never put my reacter lights on my second pair as I suffer from migraines and nothing can be done with them, as they are over 12mths old when my glasses broke and I needed to use the second pair. So not impressed by them at all. No they can't put a tint on them either waste of £250.00 .

Very nice staff but I can't review anything else because we were five minutes late so they cancelled our appointment! Make sure you get there early because parking is a nightmare and they won't bother to wait for you!

I went for my yearly check up. I was seen very quickly although whilst I was there it came to light that an elderly gentleman had been sitting there for 1 hrs 20mins because someone crossed his name off as being seen already. I have mobility issues so they do ask this when booking and arrange for you to be seen downstairs. I then went back a week later and service was not so good. As I waited in the queue someone smelt badly of Body odour and when that person who worked there came to me I quickly realised it was them. They took me to a desk so sort out the glasses but the smell was awful. It's not very good when your working closely to people and you smell awful. I did try to email specsavers but it was coming up as being under management and was unable to do it. They got me to try the glasses on but did not check how tight the arms were like others have done in the past. You could also do with having little bags there, just small enough to pop glasses in. I had picked up two pairs and don't have any handbags due to using crutches and they get in the way. I am unable to carry the cases due to crutches but a little bag can be hooked through the fingers. Just an idea for people on crutches like myself.

Absolutely disgraceful service. The staff were rude, disrespectful and have absolutely no customer service skills. My appointment was 3.50 I had test after test due to them needing to redo them. All I could hear was the staff discussing how they were due to go home and what an inconvenience I was behind the curtain. I needed to choose glasses and had an extremely rude member of staff a blonde lady with glasses being ubrupt with me stating how they needed to close. Fair enough but I had an appointment at 3.50 I was there on time. I was made to wait. I was polite and went to the optiticians to get new glasses. I came away with no glasses and was extremely disappointed with the service.
