Much bigger and better than the Cardiff branch. They take Covid precautions seriously, making me feel comfortable and safe as a customer. Quick and efficient service, but always busy, so book in before you go.

Staff are friendly, helpful and anything good customer service wise. And the glasses options are always plentiful, with no worries of repair in any specsavers stores if you were away from home.

My son attended for years with a turned eye. It was so bad there's no way they could have missed it. Nothing. So I went else where with him, where an appt was immediately made to the hospital to correct it.

I always felt dizzy with the lens machine, and needed a break half way through. And always felt kind of sick and disorientated afterwards. Whether this was down to my turned astigmatised eye, I'm unsure. However again the turn was not addressed for 10 years, though the astigmatism was. On receiving glasses the first pair objects went missing, the second pair was like a looking glass, the prism took a month to be able to see properly and I was often literally spinning at it was an ill balanced and strongly for myself prescribed prism. Prescriptions are always either too strong or too weak and don't balance visualisation. Probably from the spinning lens machine distorting accurate ability with muscles and brain working over time. The opticians were always very friendly, patient, and accomodating.

After changing my son to a new optician, I decided to try them myself. I've not seen this clearly since my first prescription. No headaches, 2 days adjustment time as apposed to the few weeks to a month previously at Specsavers.

It's fair to say, I'll miss the staff and the prices of the glasses. I won't be returning for another sight test. And I'll honestly put that down to the equipment impairing a true and honest diagnostic. And for when they missed a required hospital referral for a turn on a child. High tech isn't always better.

Was told when phoned to say way running late they give u 10 minutes so I got there and they said I had to be there 30 minutes before I was only 10 minutes late so they could not do the appointment

Always find your waiting around to go into appointment even though its booked. Done everything I needed, also had an eye scan. Thankfully all OK.

Fantastic staff here but I couldn’t wait to get out of the store because the doors have broken and stay open permanently. Absolutely freezing, I do not know how they work in these conditions. The doors have been broken for months apparently. Specsavers is a profitable company - shame on them for not sorting out the basics for their staff and their customers.

Couldn't even enter into the shop, there was very roude woman at the front. She said you can't enter without an appointment.?????

I cannot thank the staff enough. I called up with swollen & painful eyes and they got me in straight away. Said is an absolute angel, so kind and patient and an amazing optician. The service here is the absolute best. Keep up the great work!!!!

ad the glasses i was expecting the same plastic sides but it turns out they are metal but they are working fine i can,t figure out which have the tint and which dont but as long as they work i,m not worried at present they are very good and i am glad i got them a bit pricey maybe for an old man but eh folks we can all have a grumble i,m glad i got them so that a good tick for spec saver oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS
