If you can't follow their online production line process then you're out of luck. Turned up expecting to quickly get some cheap glasses, not allowed in and told to book online. There is no option online, so call them and still no answer. Other Specsavers stores are much more helpful

My 2 pairs of glasses are different 'prescription' wise. My partners varifocals had a miniscule field of vision...literally unusable...but she has to pay extra for bifocals on take 2...should have gone to boots, or vision express :-(

My partner had an emergency situation with one eye, while on holiday. she was refused an emergency appointment. Being told they dont give emergency appointments to non customers
Thankfully there is a,Vision Express in town that realised the gravity of the situation and put themselves out ,to fit her in. Very dissapointed in lack of service .

Good service all around. First visit I got lost - I called and they kindly directed me to the door. Eye test want smoothly and all was explained clearly. Today, this was followed by a contact lens 'teach'. I was assisted by Bethany who was knowledgeable, kind, patient and had a great sense of humour. She is lovely and an asset to the store. Cant fault this place so far - highly recommend.

Only reason i gave 1 off full stars was because the welcome and accommodating was poor, I wasn't entirely happy with certain aspects of my visit. Have lost my hearing and brought my husband along to be my ears so to speak, and to hear everything that maybe i wouldnt. Initially we were told he couldnt come in as they didnt have enough chairs. Not long after arriving in the room and the audiologist realising how bad my hearing loss was (from being given a copy of my NHS hearing test), only then was a chair fetched and my husband called in.
Audiologist didnt test me as I had a copy of a recent test done with NHS. But surely the assessment/advice should of been based on their own findings.
Masks were worn. I get that certain people/companies still are wearing them, but in an audiology department where customers are there because they are either hard of hearing or have lost their hearing, and rely alot on lip reading, surely an audiology centre should adopt wearing clear masks so their mouths can be seen.

Cannot seem to get an appointment for follow up of OCT scan. My partner needs a sight test and I need follow up scan but have to travel 40 miles to nearest branch. It is like banging my head against a brick wall trying to sort this! Not good service. Optician is off, all appointments are taken, no cancellations. What do you have to do? Impossible task.

My husband and I have both received excellent treatment today both during our eye tests and with the help and advice in choosing our glasses. It was also cheaper than the glasses we had researched on line We are also thrilled at our choices. Very friendly store.
