I've been waiting 7 years to find a pair of glasses that fit properly, I find that most glasses are a one size fits all but here they had pairs of designer glasses in various frame sizes. The process was extremely quick and simple and the girl who attended to me was very polite, had a friendly disposition. She naturally made general conversation which made me feel comfortable. The whole process of fitting, measuring and taking payment was carried out within 10-15 minutes and the glasses included lense protection etc, which meant there was no up selling. 11-09-2019

Its a pleasure go attend this opticians and all the staff are very friendly. Since getting a bit older my prescription has become more and more challenging and they have persevered to provide glasses and contacts and are happy to order up replacements and try all avenues until they get the perfect outcome.

I had only had my eyes tested a year ago by a DIFFERENT optician but was very disappointed by the glasses provided. So I decided to return to John Lewis Cardiff who had previously given myself and my wife excellent service. I was not disappointed. I had an extremely comprehensive eye test from Caroline Campbell, an superb choice of frames and options for the lenses. My new glasses arrived in just over a week and I could not be more happy with my new glasses. Highly recommended !

In jan 2020 did an eye test but did not buy the glasses with them and for the first time had problems with the vision then the pandemic came and could not visit john lewis and months just passed by, today did another eye test with a proper optician and realised that john lewis opticians messed up my prescription, no wonder i was having problems with the glasses and complaining to the wrong people thinking the glasses were the problem. Will not recommend them.

Went in and found I needed glasses for the first time. The staff were so helpful and friendly in finding a pair. Would definitely recommend to others.
