I was doubled over with a muscle spasm and saw Richard after the Perrymount Clinic were very highly recommended, my goodness I am glad I did! Richard did a thorough run through of my situation and we got to the bottom of the cause - a 9 year old scar that was not yet desensitised and causing my nervous system to believe that there was still a problem there, meaning that it would go into spasm easily - which has happened since the operation 9 years ago but I just stupidly thought it was my fault (for overdoing things) so always just suffered until it eased. He also ascertained that I was deficient in magnesium (purely by asking the right questions) and put me onto some decent (not supermarket) supplements that I am now taking and no longer do I have restless leg syndrome and the muscle spasm has completely cleared up due to manipulation of the scar (the magnesium also helped clear up the tightness in the muscle too). I highly recommend them, they are personable and caring and get to the root of the cause, the knowledge Richard shared with me about what he does was fascinating, he followed up immediately after appointments and sent me links to talks and articles relating to my problem - this in my view is way over and above and I was certainly really impressed. 5*s from me!

Alison : Accupuncture.
Recently we have been seeing Alison for my primary school age daughter. We have seen her every week for the last 5 weeks. We have made really good progress, her sleep has improved, her energy levels have improved and most of all her muscles have improved. My daughter finds it relaxing and energizing and is happy to visit each week. Alison is so friendly and adapts accordingly to my daughter. HIGHLY recommend accupuncture and Alison. Went to see Kate with what I thought was tendonitis, but was actually inflamed joints, having hoped it would somehow miraculously fix itself, but 9 months later gave in and went to seek some help. Kate was lovely and put me at ease quickly. I had laser treatment (light therapy) - completely painless. After the first two treatments I honestly didn't see any change. Third treatment and two days later my foot and ankle weren't swollen for the first time in nearly a year and I could walk without pain. It's literally like a magic wand has been waved and I am immensely grateful. Highly recommend.
