A stupid car park with a stupid height restriction (not sure how low, as it’s not indicated) and there are potholes the size of small swimming pools all over the carpark. Safety is a big issue here. I’ve read some old reviews that talked about broken windows and I can confirm that it’s an ongoing issue, as I’ve seen pieces of car window glass on the floor in two places, both inside this carpark and at the parking area just outside this carpark.

As many others have already pointed out it is full of potholes, but manageable. There is a low barrier at the entrance without height markings on it...and apparently prone to flooding...BUT, free AND great location from which to park for a visit to Ham House and for walking along the river. Quite a big carpark too!

Parked overnight here while visiting the local area with absolutely no problems encountered. Rare to find free parking around here, everywhere else is residents only so very helpful

Located at the top end of Ham Street, just past the entrance to Ham House. Large carpark and space for boat trailers. There’s a slipway just off the riverside walk by the river safety signboard. At high tide the water reaches past the concrete walkway, and you might have to detour via the Ham House roadway, so check tide tables before you do your walk. Great location to start your riverside walk : turn left gets you Richmond and the bridge , just half an hour away. Turn left gets you past Teddington, views towards Eel Pie Island and beyond that, Kingston. Pack a picnic, there are benches by the river

Plenty of parking available in the area. Very close to the river so a great place to visit if you fancy a stroll down the path.

Warning the actual car park is pothole galore and your suspension will not be better off for going into the car park. But there is parking before the actual car park so this worked out for me 🎉winning
There is Lovely scenery and went to meet up with some very special friends so it was made even better. There are some things to do here too which is very good 🎉🥂
