Boots Pharmacy

Absolutely astounded at the incompetence. My mum has had pneumonia for 3 days. She gets a call from surgery saying she has to pick up her meds, which is impossible because she is bed bound and disabled. I arrange a friend to pick it up as I'm working and they send him away saying it's being delivered. I call back to the surgery who assured me they sent it across for someone to pick up. The pharmacist agrees, then my partner picks it up and the
Pharmacist has given her antidepressants. Night 4 without medication. Angry isn't the word

3 months in a row they have messed up my prescription, hardly ever got anything i need in stock, they text you to say its there when its not, its a joke, would recommend trying a different chemist

Due to forgetting my medication and being 200+ miles from home I had reason to require an emergency prescription.
On Saturday 14/09/19.at approx 09.05 just after opening The duty chemist and assistant couldn't have been more helpful.
Within in 5 minutes I was supplied with what I required. THANK YOU.
And enjoyed the rest of my weekend.

Staff are disorganised and were quite rude to a softly spoken, younger girl helping her grandmother get a prescription. The girl was obviously nervous and unsure of what she was doing but the pharmacist was impatient and short rather than helpful or understanding. It was not even busy, I was the only other customer. Then, the prescription I was picking up wasn't ready because they hadn't downloaded the orders from the surgery from this morning and now have to wait 30 mins for another pharmacist to turn up. A great match for the useless Southgate surgery next door to be honest.

Having very recently had a new prescription, I was most impressed to receive a call from the pharmacist after one week to check up on me about possible side-effects, and then he went on to discuss my general health etc. Fabulous care.

Great pharmacy. They managed to order the medicine my child needs when several other pharmacies couldn't . Very helpful and lovely staff too! Recommend 100%
