HBS Pharmacy

If I could have given no stars I would have done as this chemist does not even deserve one. For the number of staff behind the counter, service shocking. I waited over 40 minutes for a prescription after seeing a GP at their practice. No eye contact or any personality whatsoever. It also seems that anyone can come in and buy drugs like Co-Codamol or Paranmol without the necessary questions being asked. It is a shame as it's the closest pharmacy to me but I get mine delivered to Lloyd's on Deepdale road now. The staff there are lovely & service is quick. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs

Not only in preston i think one of the worst pharmacy in the Uk they don't even bother if a patient can survive or not without their medicine they will wait for you to call them and tell them that your regular prescription is due from 2 weeks. Few bunch of idiots are there always tell you oh sorry you can wait bit more or you can come by yourself and pick it up because we are not able to provide the services which we are here for. Disgusting staff 😒

Absolutely ridiculous service with zero patient care. They take forever and the speed of their rubbish service is at snail pace. Additionally, you're constantly going back and forth for your prescription.

Staff very rude, one man in particular told me ‘i clearly don’t want my medication’ because I got it a few days after prescribed when it was their fault it wasn’t with my original medicine because they hadn’t put it together, also waited over an hour for it to get sorted when it was their mistake too!! Very bad service

Not even a hello , thank you , goodbye , just a miserable voice. I feel sorry for the pharmacy manager who has staff that are not adverse to customer services. Terrible , If I could give zero I would.

Was a really good pharmacy with monthly meds on time. For some reason for sometime now when I'm down to my last few days I realize my meds haven't arrived. If thay haven't phoned to ask if I need them need to ring to say I haven't got them. If its on repeat then someone needs them. The change isn't working.

I have had many problems with this pharmacy for a number of years. Never having my regular medication complete, always having to call them and being made to feel that I am in the wrong. Apart from one exception the staff are uncaring and basically can't be bothered, you can see that they would rather be elsewhere. Likewise over the phone it's like speaking to robots. After all the dreadful service I have been given I didn't think it could get any worse but I was wrong. After having to call them constantly to get my meds apparently I missed the delivery driver which is odd because I am housebound. They would not come back to deliver my meds as it is "unfair for the drivers as they're very busy and have a lot of emergency meds to deliver" and I was told I had to wait until Monday. So these people are leaving an insulin dependant Diabetic with heart disease and hypothyroidism without her meds for three days. I have literally no pen needles with which to inject my insulin and no tablets for my heart. These people are aware of this and yet they simply do not care. Shame on you hbs pharmacy!

UPDATE:
After I left the above review I changed to another pharmacy and for the first time in years I have my meds delivered promptly and on time. The staff are exactly how pharmacy staff should be, polite, friendly, caring and most importantly knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier. If anyone cares to know the name it's Rowlands Pharmacy and they have a few branches in and around Preston. Give them a search to see if there is a branch near you.

Extremely unprofessional practice. The pharmacy is closer to me but I avoid buying from there whenever I can due to the high prices and poor customer service. Most of their staff would be wondering here and there rather attending customers as they have no idea of their roles or the job description. Most of the experiences to deal with their staff were very unpleasant and now I hardle use any of their services.
