Service is terrible and i can never get through to them on the phone. Line is always busy like you are calling your GP. If you don’t have to wait for a pharmacist that’s gone to lunch you’d be waiting for a prescription they’ve had for a few days to be signed off by the pharmacist. Today I waited almost an hour (50 mins) to pick up a couple of cream for my daughter. Such a waste of time! If the pharmacy is busy then staffing level should be reviewed. Totally unacceptable level of service.

If you have complaints you can email the managing director of Lloyds Pharmacy’s. Not that it will make any difference.

I’ve emailed 3 times over the last few months. The last time was whilst waiting for over an hour to collect a prescription.

I am, right now, stood in another queue to submit a new subscription. The doors are closed and there is a security guard posted letting one person in at a time.

My guess is that all of the staff have quit and there is only one or two people in there.

I know people have said the staff are rude or dismissive but I think that they’ve just developed a thick skin after what seems like years (from the other reviews posted) of over work and under appreciation.

Please remember this when visiting. The local staff are victims of the corporation who have very clearly mismanaged this store.

I thought the excessive queues were just due to very high demand. But today my wife visited to pick up some shop-floor flu medicine, there was only a short queue of 2, and she still was made to wait 30 minutes to be served.

There is clearly a problem with this pharmacy at the managerial level. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to find a couple of prescriptions and they could have opened a second till for people buying from the shop floor. Who is running this shambles?

The worst pharmacy you could ever encounter. It always takes them forever to sort a prescription, they never answer the phone, and sometimes they randomly decide to shut without notice due to staff shortage.

My pharmacy at work without fail ALWAYS prepares a prescription within 3 minutes and is ALWAYS open. Why is it so difficult for this one to function? The manager should be fired.

AVOID! I thought my experience would be different to the reviews but the first time I went there I experienced all of the reviews. I went in at 1pm, queued for 20 minutes to be told they have my prescription but the pharmacist is on lunch, and I need to come back after 2:30pm.

No-one should be taking a 1hr 30min lunch, especially if they’ve only got one pharmacist and they surely know that lunch hour is going to be when people come to get their prescription.

I am sorry to whole area of Ash vale. I’m caring pharmacist, so I can understand the pain. Staff is working hard without enough support. Hopefully there will be new management soon to start the golden era for this locality. Pain and suffering supposed to end soon.

went there exactly 18:28 because I needed some medication urgently and they were the only one who had it as I called earlier and said I’ll definitely come before 18:30. Door were already closed, they ignored my kncoking and 18:30 they already left the pharmacy, when I’ve asked why you are leaving when I still should be able to come in and get what I need especially as we arranged over the phone I’ve got shouted at that it’s 18:30 and they are going home and don’t care!!! they closed way earlier as they were leaving the building 18:30! the worst pharmacist I ever came across!! RUUUUUUDE!

Like others, had to wait 45 mins. When you eventually get to the front of the queue, things could be more organised and co-ordinated. I was sent away to ask the Surgery for the repeat prescription.
