Rowlands Pharmacy Milton Road

Terrible place, unorganised, prescriptions littered across the floor, NEVER answer the phone, I'd booked a flu jab, turned up and they had given the pharmacist the day off and forgot about the ten people's jabs they had to give. They have spent a fortune doing up the shop, prescription storage never touched, most important thing that needed doing... new shop front, same old ways.... some of the staff are pleasant, not all.. and as for the owner feedback, what a joke, what planet are you on, have you ever been in that branch...

They never answer the phone and have admitted to my face they don't answer it. Nobody seems to know what their actual job is. Only using this one because my other pharmacy shut down. There is no organisation, meds all over the place, med bags in no order just strewn about the floor. They seem more interested in chatting then helping customers. The last time I had to go pick up my meds (because they had screwed up) there were almost 20 people in line, about half of those who should not have been made to go pick up their prescriptions. Delivery driver seems to have no idea how to make the drop route better (wastes fuel by dropping at one address, driving 6 miles to the next then driving all the way back to drop off one road from the first)

Absolutely shocking service only 2 assistants know what they are doing others very rude. Been using this place for nearly 50 years never known such bad customer service. Never answer phone my husband today has been given someone else's prescription.

One star because no stars not an option. I used the other Milton road pharmacy for 20 years until it closed and sent my repeats here. Went to collect to be told not all there, come back Monday. Went back, repeats not bagged up and given half an opened box and told to come back again. It's a long walk from Lovedean to collect two weeks of a three month prescription.

3rd month in a row now that you have not delivered my grandmas medication! You NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! When speaking to customers I’ve only ever had rude responses, all I need is for my grandma‘s medication delivered on time but it never happens! She’s 97 and can’t collect and I have to leave work to come and sort the problem! Disgusting service !

They ignore the phone. I have cancer and am stuck indoors, and can't even order a repeat prescription

Telephone access is very poor. I have been trying for two days now to order my prescription and they take 7 days to dispense. it’s not good enough. Why does the phone ring out then when I immediately ring again it’s engaged?

Absolutely awful. I have been coming to this pharmacy for over 20 years and for the last few years almost every time without fail there has been an issue with my repeat prescription.

I regularly struggle to get through to anyone on the phone and when I do, they have told me they've put a request for my prescription in for me, which has been a lie as when I then turned up to collect I was told it was never put in!

I have also been lied to about the opening times. They are supposed to be open until 5:30. As I work full time, the earliest I can get there is 5:15 and they already had the shutter half down. When someone finally answered me it seemed that they just wanted to go home early! There was then a rush of people at the end of the day - assuming everyone else who finishes work at 5 - and they were told they'd have to come back the next day!

I've regularly had to wait over a week to collect my repeat prescription, which as a type 1 diabetic is just not good enough. Staff are incredibly rude and not empathetic to customers at all. For a place that deals with something so vital - medicine! You'd think their customer service would be excellent. I have never in my life had such a bad customer experience.

The tipping point which compelled my to write this review was when one of my items was given to somebody else as I hadn't collected it in time! How is that even allowed??? I took an hour out of my day yesterday to make two trips to the pharmacy and another half an hour today, mostly waiting outside, and have still returned without my items.

Needless to say, I will be changing pharmacy and would not recommend anybody going here.
