Boots Pharmacy

I've been here many times over the years and it really is hit and miss. Sometimes staff are polite some not. However today I was served by someone who shouldn't be in working in a pharmacy. I was greeted as normal however when she established the service I went in for her attitude changed; rude, abrupt and patronising are the 3 words I can use to describe her attitude.
She wasn't wearing a name tag so can't name, she was of afro Caribbean origin and quite well presented.
Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because some of the staff aren't bad.

Can't believe these people are allowed to serve human beings, waited 25 mins for prescription that was dropped off a week ago, that's 25 mins from the time I was first served at least 10 people behind me some with there prescription in hand all got served before me.
Their attitude matched the service and no communication, they ask your name then walk off.
Fortunately it's not my own pharmacy.
Wouldn't use boots after this experience, it's like it every time.

Very disappointing. 8 of us left in the queue and they close. We had queued for over 40 minutes, only moving 3 places. There was at least 2 disabled people including myself. 3 of us had been trying to phone all day and not got through.
If we had been in the premises you would have locked the door to stop more people coming in.can I suggest you have a portable closed sign so people don't waste their time, energy and risk of exposure for no reason. Its stressful enough for all of us without poor customer experience.

This pharmacy deserves so much praise.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Yes, occasionally the waiting times are long, however this is because it's the main largest pharmacy in Long Eaton who accommodates walk ins, prescription collections as well as supporting the day to day dealings from the on site medical centre.
Georgina, Charli and the team have to deal with so much abuse from patients when they are clearly already very overworked, however they remember patients personally, welcome you with a smile and always go through everything with me when I'm collecting medication on behalf of my poorly father, they will do anything to help should any issues arise. Thank you Boots Pharmacy team.

Always understaffed. Can't seem to get it together. Leave people waiting outside in freezing cold and don't get prescriptions ready ahead of time when it's a weekly prescription. Ineffectual at best but would recommend you go elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff who are incredibly hard working. The pharmacy is quite obviously understaffed and the workflow seems to be based on customers at the counters first and foremost - my prescriptions are rarely ready to be collected, I can’t recall any occasion when I was able walk in and collect a pre-packed list of my regular medications: this seems to be a pretty universal experience for nearly all customers.
They need at least one, preferably two pharmacists dedicated to dealing with the backlog of prescriptions sent to the pharmacy direct from the doctors’ surgeries.

Busy pharmacy but efficient, pleasant staff. Mandy very helpful.

Hardly ever have my prescriptions ready even after they have had them 10 days, also supposed to txt when ready can't remember the last time I had a txt.
