Utterly dreadful. Meant to have a flu jab but it was cancelled 20 minutes beforehand as apparently the vaccination doesn't arrive until mid October (i.e. month away). The staff then claimed that the poor organisation and communication wasn't their fault or anything to do with them at all - this is wrong as they are part of one big team and business, and when that big team and business doesn't deliver that means they are included in the accountability.

The staff are RUDE & INCOMPETENT!!

Today I yet again tried to get my meds only to be told there was no prescription for me or pending! I called the doctors who sent it 4 weeks ago & gave me a code to prove it & when I returned they then threw it at me & denied saying they didn't have it!!!! OMG THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Store has been closed on saturdays alot. The staff said its due to pharmacist shortage but i have not had this problem with other pharmacies like boots. If they're was a shortage surely it would affect them too?

Went to collect my husband’s medication, there was a sign to say they were opening late. Went back, two customer’s in the shop’s medication wasn’t ready, and neither was mine. They just don’t seem to know what they’re doing.

It’s not great. When I got my repeat prescription I noticed that one of my meds was incorrect, and was only half the prescribed dose. I returned it to be told by the rude pharmacist that it was my job to open the package and check it’s correct. I did, that’s how I noticed! It’s actually HER job to check and to get it double checked before it leaves the pharmacy! She was very rude and didn’t even offer an apology

Absolutely awful. This pharmacy makes you feel like an inconvenience. They can take over a week to get you a repeat prescription (and you should be grateful for that by the way) and they close over lunch 1-2pm which isn’t ideal for those that work.

Most recently, having had it booked for over a month, they let me down 2 hours before my flu jab appointment; due to staff not being trained.
Avoid at all costs.

This is a truly dreadful Pharmacy. I'm not the only one who thinks so judging by all these bad reviews. Ran out of meds and rang 111 who sorted out an emergency scrip to collect from Townhill. Pharmacist wouldn't supply as I was not on her record and couldn't check me out. 111 said this was rubbish (they perform these checks) so I went back. Same refusal with shouting match. Back to 111 who sorted me out with Boots Bitterne Park. Got my meds there within 5 mins! Retraining needed at Townhill both in customer relations and in NHS procedures. procedures.Avoid

Useless. My husband paid for my prescriptions when I was in hospital and they said they needed to order in 1 item. Went back when they said and they had not kept any evidence that he had paid and tried to get me to pay again, luckily we had the receipt however it is their responsibility to ensure the prescription is signed.
