I’ve been going to this pharmacy since I moved to the area and they have always been so helpful and kind, and have even assisted me in getting urgent prescriptions so I wouldn’t go without over the weekend. Thank you all for your hard work and compassion!

Unfortunately I am writing this review after a terrible experience with a rude, condescending male member of staff.

I have come here for years, never had a problem and found the other members of staff pleasant and helpful.

Today was my first time having to deal with this particular individual and I cannot believe the way he was allowed to speak to me, and felt very let down by the passivity of the other 3 members of staff present. I left feeling upset and victimised for no reason other than a man was agitated and felt it was ok to take it out on me as the customer. This is not ok.

Looking at your other reviews it seems customer service and attitudes here could use some serious work.

Please know that I require top customer service wherever I go… with that said, St.James Pharmacy delivers it EVERY single time I visit! I have several health conditions that require continual special medication and whenever there is an issue, it is resolved in such a way that they need a medal! I have not been paid to give this review - this review comes from my heart because each time I visit they save me!! Thank you and your team

This pharmacy has been my go-to for my prescriptions and the pharmacist has always been polite, helpful and compassionate, and knows me even if I'm wearing a face mask so this adds that personal touch. I was recently hospitalised with a serious condition, and the pharmacy called me upon my discharge (having received my discharge summary from the GP) to see how I am doing and to offer support. I highly recommend this wonderful pharmacy, and want to thank them for looking after me during the pandemic.

One senior member of staff here is persistently rude and condescending on every visit.
The lack of basic human compassion let alone the 'bedside manner' that is invaluable in medicine makes every visit to this chemist an unpleasant experience.
The single star in this rating is for the other members of staff here who seem like decent people even though they spend each day in the firing line of their tyrannical supervisor.

Terrible customer service. Lady at the front desk need to get proper training before serving the customers. If you don’t value your customers they won’t come back. Today on 4 February 2022 afternoon
