The Llyods Pharmacy inside Charing Cross Hospital is an absolute joke! The average waiting time for a simple prescription is well over a hour for a prescription with 1 item. I am completely dumbfounded at how any prescription can take that long with only 10 patients in the Pharmacy and there being 8 staff members behind the counter. The staff are lacking any form of common sense and incompetent at performing the most basic tasks. How these people were deemed to be employable, has truly made me loose all my faith in humanity. They also call the number you are assigned for you to only wait a further 20 minutes for someone to hand the already prepared prescription, which is literally just sitting on a cupboard. Overall the people running this Pharmacy are about as useful as Hellen Keller's alarm clock and I honestly beleieve they would struggle to pour water out of a boot, with instructions on the heel.

A most professional and hardworking Team of Staff headed by Lamine. I've witnessed people complaining at having to wait a short time for prescriptions, which is unfair considering they've usually come directly from the Consultant. To their credit, the staff have always handled these situations calmly and patiently, and daily manage to dispense 100's of prescriptions within an hour!

It just makes me sad how people can be so rude and unappreciative of a professional Team who constantly work so very hard to dispense so much medication each day! It's not like the job can be rushed!! All staff deserve appreciation and good behaviour rather than winging complaints. Thank you for my 2 years of top service!

The wait on the board said 20 minutes and the two ladies on tills one with a headscarf and one with longer hair both of Asian decent, were talking non stop while serving me talking and laughing about something. I was told to wait outside for 22minutes and a lady came out and said I had to wait a little longer because they had to clarify my medication with the doctors which will be extra 10-15 minutes. I’m total I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The waiting time is too long and the staff there aren’t working sufficiently enough.

The worst pharmacy, ever.

Incompetent staff who always fail to deliver. They even dispute and refuse the consultants’ requests and prescriptions.

4.5 hrs, today, since they had received the prescription on their system and inspite they have failed to have it ready. I had a long wait outside and after a long chemo session until they prepared it.

A few weeks ago, they did the same exact thing, which had resulted in delaying my discharge. The consultant has discharged me at 13:00 and by 18:00 at the change of shift, the doctor realised that I was still waiting. What hurts more is that good and efficient staff keep apologising for Lloyds pharmacy’s failures.

For more than a year now, every week, they make me wait long for my prescriptions, this is if they decided to release them.

Unlikely this will change. Complaints about them are most abundant but somehow they still win their contracts.

Unsurprised that the people leaving a good review know these people by name - rings of a fake review to me. The worst pharmacy I have every been to barring none. the wait is outrageous, they seem to have no clue what they are doing. I waited an hour (after being given a prescription for A&E because I'm sick), I had to stand for an hour in the heat. At least I am able bodied, the lady in front of me was also standing for an hour on two crutches, no where for her to sit while she waited an inordinate amount of time. I've never seen anything like it - they only served 6 people in an hour! I got my prescription and they didn't give me my entire prescription for a month's worth of medication - they gave me 2 days, charged me full price and wrote on the receipt that they'd given me 28 days worth. Could not be more digusted. I will also be lodging a formal complaint. £9 for 2 days worth of meds!

Definitely a contender for the slowest pharmacy in London. Their management flow needs a bit of an overhaul.

I went there to get some probiotic for my baby daughter who has a bad cold and diarrhea…and they did not have any but also say to get in touch with the doctor…oh really?!? It’s a Sunday morning and I’ve got my daughter sick so rather than getting help from the pharmacist within the hospital I have to get in touch with GP who is open only weekly…. Such a great service! I’m fed up with these pharmacies that are useless!!!
