visited four times to collect my repeat prescription was never ready or the place was closed,on fourth time and after arguing I was asked to wait for half an hour to be told 20 minutes later that they dont have my medicine in stock and I would have to come back another day, took my prescription and went elsewhere, picked up my medicine within a minute.
this place was bad enough before but now its a discrace and should be closed down by the department of health.
everyone i spoke to there had a similar experiance.
i think the staff are given training in rudeness and non customer care for that they get 5 stars.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced; pretty much every 1 star review of this place tells my experience of the place - ignored for long time when entering, no eye contact or greeting to say 'I'll be with you in a minute...', no answering the phone (even been the only person in there, with 3 behind the counter, and watched them ignore both me and the phone ringing out..!), prescriptions often not there (according to them) for days - when my GP says it shows on her system as having been received within about 30 mins.., prescription not ready even after having actually received a rare text message telling me to go and pick it up.., so often it's come back tomorrow or in 30 mins.., watching really old people being treated the same way, when you are queuing behind them.
So, I have raised this with Lloyds customer services, and suggest that anyone else with similar bad experience do the same (although be prepared for a 20 min wait to get an CS agent on the phone...).
Got to drive up there now - as not answering the phone to me or customer services... Wish me luck; I'm dreading it, as I rather urgently need my prescription...
They wouldn’t give my family member my prescription even though I went the day before and said they’ll be collecting it as I can’t wait the hour, that they said it would take. All was fine, they said I’ll just need to confirm my name and address with them, standard procedure. When it came to it they refused to give them my meds unless they knew my NHS number - which they gave and then said they didn’t have any request for that on the system. It’s only when I called up that they ‘found’ it again. So I then went a day without my most important medication.
I wouldn’t have minded so much If staff had acknowledged we were there and apologised. There is a handwritten sign saying there are delays due to staff shortages but to stand there for so long ignored was unacceptable and I won’t be returning.
